Think about it.
Little monk flies across map in that stupid flying kick pose whooooosh Season 3 mogged warrior is standing there, kitted out in glorious spikes, dripping with blood from hours of graveyard camping.
Monk…punches. Punches the spikes.
Does it make sense? No, therefore we should delete monks, death knights, demon hunters, blood elfs, fat pandas from the game and buff priests.

I don’t think you can really start trying to make sense of things in a fantasy game

Well, the animation of Fist of Fury f.e. looks more like small shock-waves than and endless stream of punches. And shockwaves hurt either way.

Monks are actors and they do feints or fake punches.
Why do you think monks are encouraged not to use the same attack twice in a row, it’s a small ouchie recovery window.

That’s why they always wear stat sticks on their backs. It makes BM agile enough to hit exactly where they need and not hurt themself, and MW intelligent enough to know where exactly to hit.
Pain, like any other sensation, is something you can learn to let go of. When you achieve this, even punching the hardest of diamonds is like moving your hand through a cloud.
White Tiger watch over you.

For a start, I know where your character name comes from, and that was legitimately one of the funniest animated series I have ever seen. ‘Killface’ was comedy genius.
But yeah, Monks always do mad stuff in fiction, I mean heck, there is a film called ‘Bulletproof Monk’ I reckon someone Bulletproof could punch platemail and be pretty Gucci.

Seeing what monks can do irl, and what pandaren monks can do in the books I would rather ask for a buff for spikes. They are clearly underpowered.

I guess no more heroic leaping then, nor twirling around on a full plate set, not to mention rushing to en enemy. Nope! All gone
Listen you. I just hate monks, so go along with it. C’mon, help a fella out.
I know right, just “Get on the Bus!”
Now you’re talking.
passes you a dollar under the table
They’re an agility class they dodge the damage from punching plate armor.
There’s a lot of fat in their fingers, asborbs the impact.
even if you’ve never trained in a martial discipline you’ve surely heard of ‘iron fist’ training no?..it strengthens the muscles and skin of the hands and develops a tough callus to greatly aid your striking…really not a length i ever wanted to go to…enough to know how to kick someone in the goolies and run…
I like how this went from monk punching to delete half the game xD
Does your sword-arm hurt when you slice into plate armour?
Depends on how strong you are and how sensitive to pain you are.
Monks? Pretty strong arms I’d wager.
