Do you feel Frost DK has way too many buttons?

The oblit/frostscythe and FS/GA split already takes up 4 buttons, then you have HB/ERW/DM. Then on top of that frostbane only replaces FS, not GA, more complications. They then added fwf’s second activation so you gotta remember that during pillar when you’re mentally checking on so many procs already. Just very taxing compared to UH’s simple 1-2-3 rotation.

Blizz is not making it easier. I tried to bind Oblit/Frostscythe and FS/GA and switch with macro via extra mouse button (side ones) but apparently it does not work (blizz does not recognize mouse button 4 or 5 as macro).

I don’t think any class has too many buttons nowadays. Go check enhancement shamans in draenor for example xD

NO, Unholy have too many. But i like trand that we all have less buttons to press

I always find shaman has the most buttons all the time in every expansion

Overall, I don’t think frost DK has too many buttons. What it does have is too many cooldowns that need to line up with different requirements that just makes actually launching you cooldowns tedious to make sure everything is right.

Breath: 60 Runic Power.

Frostwyrm’s Fury. Make sure you are lined up to hit everything. Also it has to come after Pillar of Frost.

Reaper’s Mark: Be in melee range with your target with 2 runes.

Pillar of Ice: The most simple. But you ideally want to make sure you have the runic power and runes to to get the dmg rolling.

On a patchwork type boss? It’s not too hard. But the amount of times I hit go and something does not go off or I end up with so little resources I can’t do anything because breath just ate all my runic power.

But the core rotation? That’s fine on the number of buttons.
