Also, the problem can also become “too much”. most vanilla leveling was low tier antagonists. and now the same for cosmic ennemies.
Also, should mind if there are not other kind of ennemies… i wouldn’t speak about scale of power but origin.
Xal’atath, Zovaal, titans, it is “extra azerothian” like were legion.
Old god, Azshara, Deathwing were/are of similar strength. BUT they are azerothian.
There is also, as said, difference in the writing blizzard did for those various antagonists… the “cosmic origin one” having nearly no buildup before they became antagonist (aside Aman’thul) + variety needed in “where does ennemy come from”
This is how people are fed up of current ennemies…
Not just a “what is better, killing useless defias or cosmic ennemies” …
I think this one, but mainly because it allows for smaller stories that flesh out less explored areas of the world. Spectacle has its place and I enjoy it from time to time, but I suppose I am a bit exhausted.
Both are genuinely enjoyable.
But I’d welcome some down to earth threats.
Like the next upcoming patch content is in that niche local dangerously threat that we have to deal with, with the overarching cosmic threat.
Both but i still say it would be most fun if we would lose just once. This beibg somekind god champion is getting bit boring or give option play bad side. Would been interesting option play at xal’atath side even it would mean lose at end expansion.
I am still waiting on your sources. Please provide them for me, I will change my views on things when provided with new evidence. Critical thinking is amazing.
And if I can replicate it by using the scientific method, then we are cooking.
