Do you support Alliance genocide of Horde races?

But Brother Knight, I do post from an IC perspective more often than not! And much blood, much burning memes.

And then there are those who still defend Sylvanas as doing no wrong…….

kind of horrible if you start posting blood and burning memes from an IC standpoint.

Such is the nature of WoW and the Blood War…and us being death knights…and all that bloodiness and sadism that comes with it.

Man, those saddened souls from Teldrassil might be cheering now. To know that you are making memes about them :frowning:

Oh I’m carving my way through Horde players in pvp…or I was before I gave up on pvp a couple of weeks ago. Was getting very intense, started seeing target reticules every time a Horde Paladin showed up :stuck_out_tongue:

What does that have to do with you being mean on the lost souls of Teldrassil?

Ah, I was unclear. I am making ‘The Burning of Silvermoon’ memes.

Ohhhh, your dream scenarios.

Okay. Continue.

At this point, it’s the only thing that’ll happen this xpac with Sylvanas atop a pyre there with her loyal minions being stopped from turning the Sunwell into a Voidwell. AKA SoO 2.0

You guys totally blew it, we’re still welding “Muh Honour” cannons.

And “Great Spirit” mana bomb launchers are not synchronised!

Fah! They won’t believe us. They won’t now. Let the hoofless ones believe what they will. Our masterful Cyber-Tauren Rogues will cover our tracks.

I do not support genocide. In fact I am sick of the things we all had to do which were gut wrenchingly cruel. The war is like a spark which starts a flame which starts a forest fire. It feeds upon itself. Either the fire is extinguished or everything will be consumed and only ash will be left.

Of course not. The very notion of “genocide” disgusts me and I’m franky shocked people are calling for it, even if it’s just a video game. Like, what the heck, people?

Instead, I prefer to argue for a humane and carefully organized deportation campaign that will leave lives preserved and the pride of the Horde people intact.

Here’s what it would look like:

  1. Step one would be executing the Banshee Queen, who is the sole perpetrator of this cruel, unnecessary war. Her death, as well as the deaths of any that side with her or are suspected of doing so, will prove to be a solid foundation for our cause of peace.
  2. Step two: sign a treaty for the Horde to give up its status as a political power. The position of Warchief will abolished. Instead, the Horde races will be led solely by their racial leaders. Neutral factions, such as the Cenarion Circle and the Earthen Ring, will sign a treaty declaring they will no longer deal with the Horde. The Horde will have to let the Alliance re-eveluate the legality of its territorial boundaries, dismantle any warships or zeppelins it has left, and finally cancel any pacts and alliances it has with outside races and factions. The Alliance and neutral factions will band together in an intergovernmental organization called the United Factions (UF). The Horde races that co-operate peacefully will eventually be allowed to join the United Factions.
  3. Step three: dismantling the Bilgewater Cartel. The organization would not only be declared illegal, but would be stripped of all assets, which would go towards war reperations. Additionally, Jastor Gallywix would have to be imprisoned and sentenced for his countless crimes and illegal dealings. Of course, Alliance judges would decide his sentence, on the basis of Alliance laws.
  4. Finally, under the watchful eye of the Alliance, the grand repatriation campaign will begin. Orgrimmar, which stands as a bastion of tyranny and violence, will be mostly demolished, as will any other military outposts. Orcs will be rounded up and peacefully escorted (again, provided they co-operate) to the Dark Portal, which they will cross to eventually settle in Outland. Any former members of the Horde may feel free to join them. The Darkspear Trolls will be escorted to their ancient homeland, Stranglethorn Vale, where they may settle alongside their Gurubashi brethren (note: re-examination may instead suggest Un’goro Crater; this might prove to be a safe alternative). The tauren, who have proved to be staunch allies of the Alliance, will allowed to remain in control of any former Horde regions in northern Kalimdor, minus Azshara, which will obviously be returned to the Kal’dorei. Former goblins of the Bilgewater Cartel will be returned to their beautiful island, Kezan. The blood elves will join the orcs on Outland, though they may settle on Netherstorm, the beautiful land their prince found for them.
  5. Step five is safeguarding the world from Zandalari imperialist ambitions. As racial nationalism has consistently been a problem with trolls, the Zandalari Empire can not be allowed to exist. Though the Alliance does not want to hurt anyone’s feelings, the monarchy will be abolished, and instead a council will reign that represents the interests of the entire continent of Zandalar: troll, vulpera, Sethrak and Tortollan. As said before, any remaining war ships are to be demolished.
  6. Next are the elven lands. As the Nightborne have proven to be undeserving of indepenence, their lands will be joined with the night elven ones. Azsuna, Val’sharah and Suramar will all come under Kal’dorei control (Highmountain will obviously remain tauren territory). The worship of Elune will be reinstated as the official religion. They may continue to supply the Kirin Tor and other “neutral” organizations with mages and such, but will be represented together with the Kal’dorei in the United Factions, by a Night elf, of course. Quel’thalas will be once again be returned to the High Elves, as well as the Void Elves who fought so bravely in the name of the Alliance.
  7. Finally, Lordaeron will be cleansed. The Forsaken will kindly and mercifully be put to rest, so that they may at long last be freed from their curse and their eternal service to the tyrannic Banshee Queen. Lordearon and Gilneas will be returned to its former inhabitants. And at long last, there will be true peace on Azeroth.

See, it’s not that hard. There’s never a need to resort to something as barbaric as genocide.

You say genocide is barbaric in the same post calling for the genocide of the Forsaken. Just pointing that out

I know this thread is kinda old and i may have already addressed it, but in my opinion i’m fine with the Alliance attempting it.

I do think ‘genocide’ has turned into another buzzword that tries to paint without any kind of nuance any warlike approach with conflicting factions.
There are middle grounds that don’t demand racial prosecution and extermination.

I’d be fine with either faction aiming or attempting at some total control over the other. Yes, even if it means killing or destroying a large quantity of said enemy race in order to achieve their total submission.
But thats not the same as arguing for genocide.

I’d be fine with attempted genocide in this context by the way (it’ll still be rather fitting for certain races in the fantasy world we are dealing with in WoW).

But point is, that it isn’t an indispensable requisite in order to triumph in any war. Including the factional one.
Azshara didn’t need to wipe out trolls. Dwarves didn’t need to wipe out trolls. Human didn’t need to wipe out trolls.
And they all triumphed in their respective conflicts by killing copious amounts of said race.

While your points are impressive and well thought out.
It doesnt solve the larger problem.
Namely that aslong as there are orc’s they will attack us.
They have done so time and time again and relocated the problem to outland is just that.
Relocating not fixing them problem.
Impressive list of points tho.
Do you work for the united nations?
This sound like something they writte up.

Well, I believe that Sylvanas was right when she talked about a “cycle of hatred”. That’s why I believe we need to end this in a humane manner. Relocation is the best solution in that regard.
Either way, I do not believe the orcs would prove a danger after relocation. Naturally the Dark Portal would be sealed off again so that they can’t just walk back, and I believe the environment of Hellfire Peninsula will mean they’ll be too busy with surviving to bother scheming. The brave orcs have proven to be quite capable of surviving in barren, arid lands, so I’m sure they’ll thrive. Above all, they will surely be thankful to the Alliance for helping them return to their homeworld.

And thank you for the compliment, haha! Unfortunately I don’t, but I do hope to be one of the first employees of the United Factions.

On Argus we seen a whole portal-network and large portals to different worldss. Cen’gar was a balzing hell, so thats out, Sangua was possibly Old God infested and Val was a forzen wasteland. BUT Bonich was a nice forest and Aurinor was like Shadowmoon … Naigtal… well, a bit swampy but not that bad. The Illidari secured those portals and left behind a nice litte team of Demon Hunters to guard the portal. Matron Mother Malevolance is a sikkled portal-opener, she was capable to link Mardum/Fel Hammer to Azeroth… so finding a planet for the Orcs are not THAT hard. The Taurens could stay, Azeroth is their home too, but the Planet of the Undead is something Teron Gorefiend wanted in the Second War… and im sure the Blood Elves would die to have their own world…
Sadly this will never happen
