I dropped my Druid as a main going into DF, just got back onto it for season 2 and was so relieved Stellar Flare wasn’t more or less mandatory anymore. Looking at the upcoming changes I’ll probably not run SF anyway, even if it’s a slight DPS loss; SF just feels too bad to play with. If we must be forced into this Waning Twilight play style through SF, at the very least make SF instant-cast and hit more than one target. Currently it just feels like a much worse version of MF.
Offering players a choice in terms of how to apply WT is fine if that’s gonna be one of our core mechanics (at a 10% damage buff it basically will be). SF vs Smolder vs Mushrooms has the potential to be an interesting choice but SF currently just feels the worst by far and shouldn’t be this much more annoying to play with compared to the others.
