Can someone sanity-check this… Am I missing something obvious or is ele stormbringer effectively doing no damage in pvp right now?
I was one of the few people playing pvp stormbringer in dragonflight and it actually had surprisingly strong and short window single target damage, it caught people off guard. Right now playing it feels like being the most useless class in the server. I also haven’t seen anyone running ele stormbringer in pvp for ages, which makes me wonder why does this spec feel like it’s been made completely worthless when it literally sees no play in pvp?
And honestly, the visual feedback feels gutted too. I used to feel like a lightning bolt god and now it’s like wet noodles tickling people.
Quick pvp dummy test for ~16 seconds. (One target, no long ramp)
Sub Rogue — ilvl 107, 9 green astral honor pieces: ~400 damage in ~16 sec (Including some stunlock activity…………………………………………..)
Ele shaman (Stormbringer) — ilvl 120: ~150k damage in ~16 sec
Enhancement shaman (Stormbringer) — ilvl 120: ~570k damage in ~16 sec
How is that even possible?
Is there some interaction that’s bricking ele stormbringer? If anyone is actually making ele stormbringer work in pvp? Right now this looks broken and no fun at all.
