Double Honor and Darkmoon Faire Coming to Pre-patch

even u grind 10h a day u need with 2x 4-5 days for 2h weapon depends on que

Blizzard should rename it to Premade Basin… Waiting 20min to get constantly stomped by sweatlord9000 premades. Fun times.

Premade grps should be matched only vs other premade grps.

This. Thank god there is still someone as realistic as you.

What will happen when this guy will have to get his attunements or farm PvP gear during TBC when the honor will be reverted to the correct values (yesterday ones) ?

Everyone don’t have the same time to play i can understand that. But does it mean the game (especially Classic) must catter to the ones with the less time to play ?

Remember being full R14 is a personnal objective and not a necessity in Outland.

I came to play tbc not vanilla. It’s two weeks the gear will be usless soon. I dont expect to go to classic era and get full epic on my toons.

btw if your a father of 6 and you play this game instead of spending time with the kids, dont give me bs about you got time for this. you take time away from the kids to play this game. All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given to us. and you choose to play this game over your kids.

Im 16k after 2 days ( about 10 hours combined )

Yeah with what marks in the bag? AV only right?

AB marks if u must know

58 Ab¨
15 AV
9 WSG

Man, i could say for sure that the biggest part of the Classic playerbase are adults with kids + job.

Yet they enjoyed Classic Vanilla with the hard grind/farm.

So it’s funny to see this everywhere when a lot of players knew ahead that Classic versions were time consuming (TBC will probably be more time consuming than Vanilla)

R14 gear will easily last till 65 66lvl and thats not a bad thing if your previous gear was green/blues. It also helps a lot if you are on a PVP server.

The gear you get in Hellfire ALONE, will last you to the same level and that’s doable within a day.
Pvp servers will be a gank fiesta with or without HW gear.

I agree, they are putting themself a lot of pressure “for nothing”

You guys are free to do whatever you want and have any sort of game objectives but don’t complain that the game you chose to play knowing ahead that it’ll be time consuming require too much time.

Especially here. R14 is optionnal for the TBC content. If it was a prerequisite to be able to go in Outland then i would totally agree with you, but it’s not and you can still have fun.

It’s 2 weeks of pre-patch bro. Let people get the stuff they couldn’t get during 18 months, let them have fun. It won’t harm anyone, it’s 2 weeks of non-sense.

Like a big fiesta irl when you finish your appartement or a big project.

I don’t need the gear, I was just hyped because of this transient euphoria, and had sh*tloads of fun pvping the first day.

Link me this gear which beats HW/GM gear from Hellfire please. As far as I can see, you can start swapping HW/GM gear from dungeon blues around level 65, from mana tombs/old hillsbrad+

I agree man. But the actual x2 and x4 AB it’s totally doable right now. Before it was a bit hard i can’t deny it.

If you aren’t full R14 but 3-4/5 you can still have fun !

The only thing that tickle me is people saying “they don’t have fun because they can’t get full R14 in few days”. What about the game itself, the gameplay, the community etc…

Its doable if they extend beta patch with 2 months.

They should have treated pre-patch as content, rather than a ptr test for paying customers.

Anyway, i would strongly advice to keep marks/honor for the level 70 PvP gear and not for the R14 one. The first one will be way more useful/better and last longer.

But, hey, you are free to to what you want to do.

You have quite the bit of nerve to comment on someones parenting role and how they make their life-puzzle go around.

Nerves of steel. It was he who came on his high horse not me.

The narrative within this thread is that you NEED HW gear for whatever reason. I’ve only seen 1 argument: It will last you up to lvl 68 ( in some cases )

My point is, you get pretty decent leveling gear in Hellfire ALONE from quest rewards, which nullifies the entire argument that you need HW gear in order to quest/grind in Outland.
Players seem hellbendt to only follow Youtube guides instead of understanding that Outland will grant you everything you need in order to go on your journey.

Just to later on complain that there too little to do or whatever hillarious complaints they come up with.

TLDR:
You dont need HW in order to play in Outland, it will in many cases make the journey slightly easier, but again: You will be rewarded with everything you need within the first zone to complete your journey to 70 if you so wish it.
