Why can’t we have a DPS-only Solo Shuffle mode?
The queue times for DPS are way too high. Why does the mode currently require a healer on every side? IMO a DPS-only mode would be way more fun because the rounds would be a lot faster.

Well turns out that they would be won by almost every class that can self-heal. Warriors are not one of them. Rogues neither.
So… A paladin would win 6/0 all the time. Is that what you want? ![]()
Healers are there for a reason. If you sit and think about it for a second you will figure why.
I let you know because prior to SS there was the case where 1 warlock could simply put 3 dots on people. Hide behind a pillar. And he would automatically win. Unless there was a healer somewhere. ![]()
You want to wait less in SS? Play healer. Or whine to blizzard to reform the MMR system. Because it heavely favours DDs. For a healer, its stupidly frustrating to climb MMR in SS.
I just want quick games so that I can farm conquest for the warrior PvP armor set. I’d rather have quick games that are potentially badly balanced instead of 15 minute queues. ![]()
Also, those classes with self-sustain would also be on my team half the time in solo shuffle.
It would need to be 2v2 and only rogues, hunters, mages, retributions type classes with immunities would win. But other than that yes, I miss playing double dd’s, its long since rm or any other double dd team have been playable in the game, they bloated every spec with so many defensives and self heal and the cc nerf they made for df were also factor. Double dd teams are simply not played anymore they went extinct thanks to all the m+ aimed PVE changes to the game on class designs.
If you loose 9/10 games that is not good for your conquest farm. Loosers dont get anything you know… ![]()

You would get focused and get killed 6 out of 6 times… Worst possible outcome.
Don’t worry guys, they said they will observe the situation and figure out a way to make healing more enjoyable. Was 2022 I think, can’t be that long now, any moment.
Meanwhile - roll a healer or obey the multi account meta - i play classic on acc 2 while sitting in queue on 1. Or queue both.
About topic. Double dps in its current form is unviable.
Btw. Farming conquest for the armor skin can be done by simply grinding the air drop chests.
If I’d lose 9/10 games initially, I’d eventually get into a super low bracket in which everyone just mindlessly zugzugs for fun and conquest though and I’d be perfectly fine with that.
Is that a warmode thing? Do you know how much conquest one gets per capture?

Roll a healer. Lose game until you are in dirt mmr. Win games. Send the 50 conquest tokens to your warrior.
You would have noone to play with. Because nobody likes to drop from 1900 rating to 1000. Just because ret palas are OP…
And the whole game mode would be dominated by those classes… So the rating you talk about would be 0 rating. And you would STILL loose 9/10 games.

Then just queue normal 2s. Find a random DPS and play double DPS with very fast queue times.
Don’t they become available for 12 Marks of Honor after the Season ends? So roughly 5000 Honor points?
Do you mean the 1800 tmog? You can get plenty of conquest from weekly PvP quests and doing “dailies” in each mode by making the first win of the day in each. You dont need any specific tricks for this, you can just que up random bg, solo blitz, solo shuffle and play and obtain both 1800 from just playing and gain conquest while at it.
Dont be afraid to play and use the disable chat from options under social settings if want. I dont care read what ppl speak in soloqs or get ragebait by anyone in there, I just play and do my part and if I wanna talk then I seek long-term team for arena where improving together actually benefits all of us like investment for future.
healing is going to be dead in pve in midnight also

Imho too much healing and self-sustain is the #1 reason why pvp in retail sucks. The fact that you need to set up every kill with 15s chain cc just to kill through sustain is boring as hell and makes entry level enormously high.
Even duels can last several minutes sometimes. People want to press buttons and feel meaningful impact.
I would gut almost all self-sustain, increased time to kill to avoid one shots and then suddenly 2s shuffle with dpses only is playable and fun.
Let Brann Bronzebeard heal arenas too.
Basically this yeah if ppl are using their cds and cc to disrupt go’s then nothing dies. The game is bloated with defensives and cc now since DF. Midnight it looks slowing down more but thats just pvp on beta, noway of telling yet how it will be next year.
