Dragonflight Druid Talents - Add your constructive feedback

I made a post on General forum about it.

I agree. That’s one of my main concerns too.

I disagree with this one. I kinda think it’s necessary for PvP.

I think this applies to many points. When getting to Cyclone or Interrupt, you pick boring physical damage increase or magic damage increase. For Feral Magical damage increase is mostly useless.
It feels bad, especially when you have to throw multiple points in.

me too

I hate this as well. For example in Feral Tree I have to pick Primal Wrath, although I know for sure that I will never use that ability, because I play PvP.
That feels super bad. Especially when you’d rather spend it on whatever else before.

summary

  • it feels bad to be forced to pick certain talents which you wish to avoid… either the “lines” should be scrapped completely (they force you into certain talents) or there should be way more of them, so you can choose different direction - I’d actually say that DKs suffer less from this issue, but I stand with what I say
  • boring talents X % damage increase should be removed, on the other hand, something like Taste for Blood X% damage increase for each dot to your Ferocious Bite… isn’t boring
  • Soothe, Hibernate, Remove Corruption (Remove Curse) should all be baseline, it’s extremely bad to pick those situational abilities and lose your main abilities or power over it… this indirectly leads to prunning… am I supposed to pick 4 abilities I will never ever use (Moonkin form? Starsurge) as Feral just because I might want in a match up to throw in some Hibernates? No. That feels bad.

Right now it feels like too much prunning that I’ll be playing worse version of Shadowlands Feral. Because I’ll lose bunch of abilities as they’re too costly.
It’s unreasonable to spend 7 talent points on something you don’t want just to pick Cyclone.

“counter-arguments”

Blizzard’s reasoning for this prunning and putting it into talent trees is that “it’ll cost just one point and you’ll have enough talent points, don’t worry”. Well - NOT REALLY. Picking Cyclone doesn’t cost you 1 talent point, but rather all talents in its direction make it 7. That’s 7 out of 31. That’s more than 1/5 of all talent points just for ability you had previously baseline. That’s the equivallent of having Cyclone on one talent row in current talents. And yes, removing Cyclone and putting it into Current talents as a choice would feel super-bad. This feels like something they didn’t really think about which in my opinion is very clear from the statement, that it’ll just cost one talent point.
