Now you’re just a broken record. I’ll ignore you now, troll. See you.
The Rogue talent tree makes me wanna try that class. I really like, that you brought Class-RP-feeling to the game. Reading the tree of assassination though, I feel like that “fan of knives” isn’t placed in a logical way. It should be some side tree, that you can go into. Also for outlaw: I hope, that the cdr buff stacks with multiple rogues, because then I can dream about having perma combust with 4 rogues in my group and a Priest, that spams p.i. on me
The class fantasy of the abilities is great in general. It’s cool to see outlaw being a defias/pirate type rogue, etc.
Hunter looks boring to me in a class-fantasy way.
So, I will combat this nonsense of “ohh hunter looks good” feeling.
At this point, I felt like I was forced to pick something, just to meet the criteria of getting further down.
That feeling became way more real here.
This felt really bad creating.
Probably the best it will become. Nothing powerful, nothing fancy from SL. This feels like a major step back.
I think this might work. But I won’t hold my breath. It lacks defensives in comparison to the others and basically you’re just trying to regain the strength you have.
What I compare all this to, is an UH dk that is near unstopable, with more offensive cooldowns than now, more slows than now and a tad more surviveability.
I compare it to two rogue specs, that both gains a tremendous amount of offensives, cooldowns they have never had before, more defensives than all DK and Hunter combined.
A Holy priest, that heals AND deal more burst damage than a BM.
Now, it’s your guys turn to convince me I am wrong.
All your points so far are about how you feel. I would chill, just voice your opinion, and wait until alot more people have also analyzed it. It’s non-sense trying to convince someone on the forums like this, and it’s also a waste of time for someone trying to convince you
His thoughts are shared by the people in the know in the hunter discord. It’s not just him.
Well he said, it was his feeling. I’m only saying it’s kinda a waste of time trying to convince someone on a forum like this, but if they want to waste their day, then all power to this person
The so called elitists are crying, whats new.
Not much really. Having a good weekend so far?
You’re interacting with people despite having literally zero experience communicating with another human being at all. Stay in your lane.
Btw: Don’t waste your time argueing about how strong a talent is numerically. They can tune the numbers, and you don’t have a sim rn afaik. Just look at the talents and think about, if they are cool or make sense in the tree structure, and if the gameplay, that results from the talent, is gonna be fun, or just sounds fun.
I checked the hunter discord out of curiosity, and it’s literally just a waterfall effect from the 2 dudes on top of the discord crying a bit too dramatically, and then everyone copying their opinion. I would wait a few days, until more onetrick hunters had the time to think about it
Someone who understands opinions and the fact its not concrete yet instead of crying about it, I like you @ Onimaru
It isn’t the numericals of it. It’s logic. We’re talking rogues gets gouge, vanish, feint, evasion, shadow dance, shadow step, grabling hook, cold blood, Mark for death. Like I can go on. That isn’t numbers. And I am not an elitist. I’ve just withnessed this over the course of 18 years, I know this path, I have very valid reasons to argue against it. I will not listen to the “it’s too early to tell”. That’s the speech I’ve gotten every expansion.
I also want to bet, you’re all very relaxed, because you see it from a pve perspective. But for pvp this kind matters. It can make or break an entire meta and make the game unplayable for weeks or months.
I consider the repurcusions.

Reminded me of this scene and made me chuckle.
Oh well it’s only pvp not many care for it.
To be fair its about time PvP stopped ruining PvE… it’s gone on too long.
Stop being so toxic and arrogant. You don’t know how the talents will be tuned and therefore don’t know what build is optimal. Maybe Lone Wolf will be tuned in such a way that the overall damage buff will be so small that there’s no overall damage gain over playing with a pet, in which case it might only be a quality-of-life feature for players who absolutely hate playing with pets. Considering how many pet talents there are in the main tree, maybe that’s what Blizzard is aiming for with Lone Wolf’s design. Same with Legacy of the Windrunners: whether it will be good totally depends on tuning.
What the, are you talking about? For 18 years, PvE has had way more dramatical changed done to pvp for the sake of PvE. And saying no one cares about PvP. The biggest streamers wow has ever had, was PvP players. The biggest youtubers, were PvP players. The first to ever reach a scene of audience with a competition, WAS pvp.
That statement, is by far the most ignorant, biased statement of all here.
And just so you know. I’m not here combating PvE. I am trying to respectfully place an opinion where I see wrong. What fusses me out is the optimistic eyes that see no wrong.
There are clear wrongs here. I mean, even the youtubes i linked are one from PvP scene and one from PvE. I don’t try and take sides. I try and be objective.
I am sorry I’m not possitive when I see obscene difference in power and talents. Obviously, I could do like all of you and just not care and reroll to the most OP pvp class. Or… I can try and improve the game by voicing what I see wrong.
And you are being extremely toxic and it shows your triggered by my comment, take a break, you’re not needed here.
How am I being toxic? I haven’t name called anyone, I haven’t said people are wrong. I provide feedback, clarification and I backup my belief. I have no at any given time been rude or demeaning to anyone. I have not roamed through your achivements to compare experience.
To be honest with you. That statement alone you made there, makes you seem like the toxic person.
Edit:
I go by what I can see. I was curious as to when you believed PvP has taken president over PvE and has had a major effect on it. Both BFA and Shadowlands has dictated the course of PvP. BFA literally forced PvP players to gear through PvE since arena had an immense low drop on gear. The gear was even PvE gear not PvP since there was no difference between the two gears.
Shadowland made a change to that, but the damage output and burst output in PvP is caused by the course of PvE.
Earlier exspansion has been abused by PvE trinkets or PvE legendary weapons, like in Cataclysm. But from what I can see, these are not your experiences. Your experience goes back to BFA and nothing earlier. Your PvP experience is based of random bg’s and doing arena to the point where you’ve only achived “step into the arena”.
If you took a look at me. I’ve done Ahead of the curve achivements, I’ve done pvp to higher rating, I’ve done challenge modes among a lot of other stuff.
I’m not a try hard pvp player and I’ve done PvE at higher end. These are what I base my opinion on, these are my experiences and my resumé.
Honestly, people need to stop crapping on things before we even get chance to look at them and people coming in here saying tell me whats good about because imo its crap is not the right way to go, you are literally coming in here to crap on other peoples excitement.
Sometimes its best to just keep your opinion to yourself rather than pushing it onto others, that is construed as toxic behaviour.
But if you dont like just keep it within the circle of haters, there’s enough hate on these forums as it is.
