Why in any other games players are allowed to tint/dye their armour - farm colours or get them also from achivments or raids/dungeons or quests.
But in wow its stuck … game is quite old and not much progression toward modern gaming … ant sized steps only …
it is funny how games as Elderscroll online and new world has both trasmog and paint/dye armors even weapons system and wow has not … feels like blizzard trying to be bad on porpose
It’s something to do with the way and armour and weapons are made in the engine that’s the problem.
yeah they rader add 5 recolors of 1 same mount noone wants then adding a dye option 
So they can copy paste with a new paint job and calling it “new” content.
The recolour is the bread and butter of WoW… take that away from the Devs and they would be finished
no one will use the old 300% fly mount all will use the dragon flying mount with 900% flying …
It’s so they can spread/stretch their content by making you farm the same raid on different difficulties for different coloured sets. Since they’re inept in making unique rewards for different difficulties.
Plus it’s cheaper for them to develop I guess.
well this new generation of peoples dont have time to farm 4 years for a mount with a drop rate of 1% … they rader buy the mounts with mount tokens or someting …
moust peoples what has played game 16 years are in age 40-50 and has family they simple have no time to farm mounts like they had 10 years ago before kids was born
I faintly remember but at some blizzcon event someone asked the dev why they cannot implement armor dye colors the answer was given back then by someone but that answer which was given was funny basically something about the identity of wow would dissapear and they gotta do long hours of work just to do that. Maybe if you search the past QA panels in blizzcon videos you might find it but that was years ago though.

imagon some kid comes and play wow he see all the 1000 mounts and he takes dads credit card and whipes the card buying 1000 mount tokes to get all mounts gg blizzard just made 25.000 euros from that kid … this same thing happends in fortnite everyday …

Doooont! I used to work in a bank and the amount of times I had to explain that we couldn’t get back the money thier kids had spent on Xbox live or fortnite was ridiculous…
I asked for it a while back, and someone said it was because of the engine. The transmog system is so obsolete. I really don’t bother to do it, for 2 reasons.
1, i will often replace the gear. Atleast up to a certain point. And when you stop to often replace the gear, how much are you playing the char.
Swtors system is so much better. I had thought of making a post, about what would people like to be added, that other games has. And one of those things was swtors customization system. Or something similar.
For those that don’t know how it works. You got a different tab for your “look”, where you add in the item looks you want. Then you can put in a dye with a primary and secondary color. Primary and secondary can be the same. You can then do, so all the items get the color(s). It gives you way more oftens to combine gear so it doesn’t look messed up. Plus, you look doesn’t change when you replace your stat gear. And you can have several taps for different looks
well Elder Scrolls online at least make you do something to farm them colours rares or legendary colours achivments etc in Swtor (which dies slowly) u dont do much to aquire apart of spending money …
To be fair, in SW:Tor, only the Black & Black Dye is pricey the rest is either craftable or super cheap
In AION you have to gather the petals to dye your armor from fruits and plants and actually makes sense, wich fruits gives what colour… a bit immersice at least. Or anoying. Depending of your point of view and preference
