Emotional moments in BfA

Azerite Gear surviving 8.2 had me borderline in tears

On a serious note;

  • Teldrassil, the absolute scale of what happened and its rammifications will probably set a lot of the story for atleast Night Elves, at most for all of azeroth, this will probably feed I to some really cool storytelling
  • Darkshore opening was really cool
  • Going into the mechagon Dungeon and making your way past the outdoors area
  • Any raid conclusion
  • Most first Dungeon runs, I like underrot cause it feels nearly lovecraftian

I was brought to tears when Jaina was discovered by her mother in the forest. Feeling the guilt of all her decisions. “You couldn’t save him from himself”, that was heavy on the feels blankey.

I feel beyond retarded and forever alone when i toggle music/sound on.

I pref my youtube playlist when soloing content & music/sound off when premades are online at Discord so we can trashtalk there.

mmm i have to say i put just environment music at 100% while im in the old world (til wotlk) and in KT.
One of the best compilation on youtube is the ambient music a guy is doin.
7 days ago i was listening a nightwish compilation when i entered in barrens. I shutted up alexa in order to hear the music and the steps on the grass. It was onirical.
But like all things i think is personal.

My most emotional Moment in bfa was the release of 8.1.

Story:

I’ve played a Pally in S1 for the 1,8 PvP Set (drool) but i cant reach 1,8 cause i got extremely unlucky with Avengers might traits (u needed 3 for big dps as ret in S1).
So after 3 Weeks i finally got 2 Avengers Might Traits and one was still left.

The Helmet. And it only drops in freehold.
So i ran freehold for just 2 weeks.

Only Freehold.

And it never dropped.

But then 8.1 came out and i did a +10 Dungeon the Week before.

So what did i get? Yeah. The Helmet on high ilvl.
But with 3 Traits instead of 4.

That’s the moment i realized that BfA is just a sh.tload of an xpac and blizz can **** my **** for sure.

Crazy cat lady being a pretty accurate title for both me and my characters, seeing the dead kitty in the annoying ghost girl’s sacrifice thingy in Drustvar was emotional :stuck_out_tongue: Possibly not what the OP meant though.

I’ve just finished playing through Drustvar again on another Alliance character, and the story of Lucille Waycrest and her fiance is really sad. Her own mother pays to have her fiance assassinated on their wedding day, right in front of her. And that before her mother turns into a creepy drust banshee thingy.

Horde side, Rastakhan and Bwonsamdi’s deal, and the implications it has on Talanji, is pretty emotional. Father of the year moment there - had no problem with him being killed in the raid after that!

A friend of mine had a very emotional moment in Drustvar at the start of the expansion. He was playing alone, late at night, riding through Drustvar near Fallhaven when he heard a little girl’s laughter. He nearly had a heart attack!

It is one of the tiny questlines I think was fun to do, the son doing his best to encourage and help his father overcome his fear is great :relaxed:

I know it was the pre-patch but A Flicker of Hope was a fantastic quest. I started it thinking “great I can save people at least”. Then it began to dawn on me that there was no way for me to douse all the flames and save that many people. That quest was just executed so well and it is a shame it is no longer in the game.

Zelling’s questline was pretty emotional and his death really angered me, I liked him. I’ve been meaning to redo his quests as an Undead to see if there are different dialogue options.

I love the atmosphere in Nazmir and Drustvar but I think my favourite zone is Vol’dun. The music, the quests, it is just great.

The quests with Saurfang and saving Baine were pretty awesome but can’t think of any other quests that got me excited.

I also seem to be lacking a lot of Alliance associated content. I guess breaking into the vault in Dazar’alor was fun.

I’ve enjoyed a lot of BfA questwise, though I still haven’t completed the Nazjatar stuff, so that might change.
