Hello there!
So, I’ve had these encounters for a while, but never realized the connection till some other casual pvp player made me aware of it. Apparently, there are names of certain player characters which, when displayed with the cursor or targeted, will cause your game to kick you back to the launcher.
Now, I’d love to show you a screenshot, but due to the nature of the issue; I can’t because I’ll dc when I see it x)
The lettering appears to be some sort of anthony/windings/russian or other eldrich runic scripture I can’t make heads or tails of it.
Now, it’s relatively easy enough to log back in again, and still be in the match; but the issue will persist throughout the game and can cause you to not get any points if you crash near the end of it.
Does anyone have any tips, add-ons, or ideas on what can be done to prevent these “DC-when-viewed” names?
