How the hell unholy death knight has double Death Grip? Grip, grip, tonnes of slows, snares LOL. He can grip you with flag to force cap a base on eye of the storm, he can grip you from friendly flag carrier. It’s like one death grip is enough LOL. Even as a dh, the most mobile class it’s pissing off really hard because there shall be only ONE death grip and a cooldown, not double lol

The blink rewind should go. Heroic leap is too much. Hunters don’t really need disengage and freedom. Warlock’s portal is unrealistic. Ring of peace should immediately make a match draw because it’s false advertising otherwise.
yeah, and those early changes that succubus seduction, fears and other cc’s aren’t even breaking on damage lol which makes them allmost as stuns. All these crap that makes game less playable but more “standing in unconscious state”
You can actually hold a healer fully hostage an entire BG if you fancy it. Unless the entire team focus on peeling for them. It’s quite entertaining, until you’re on the receiving end of course.
Heres a solution.
Remove all absurd effects from the game or limit them to 1 single class for each.
You cant just remove grips because now monks, dhs, hunters, mages, rogues, evokers have insane mobilities. Like insane-insane.
So first that has to go.
Second all of these immunities handed to a big portion of the classes is just cancer to the eyes. And at the same time hybrids like feral druids cant heal while also have 0 immunities on top of that are also the most affected by Dampening asside from healers ofc.
Making playing Hybrid instant disadvantage in arenas just objectively. (yes you can make it work but again, healing is one of your main traits and its nonexistent, for the same reason you got no solid defensives and immunities)
Did I also mention Swiftmend was removed and Bear Form healing is nerfed ? So its just one regrowth healing for 400-700k.
Do unholy DKs use grips though? If they grip dps on them, the die. That doesnt sound like a good strat as the trash wheel chair they are right now.
My opinion, it’s not even about limiting 1 to single class but more about removing double stacks of some abilities or “you can use same ability within X seconds after using it”. DF didn’t have such issue tbh - dh didn’t had double glimpse, dk didn’t had double grip etc. Why blizz provided this double crap is beyond comprehension because now players don’t even need to think when or how to use their abilities in order to not fail. Even if you fail, you have a second stack lol

theres not only alot mobility in the game but also tons of roots and snares. without double grip ud never touch certain speccs let alone ever use a grip against those on the healer.
dk already is the least represented class in every single arena bracket on high rating. take double grip and its joever.
for bg’s there should be sth done to prevent dk’s being able to hold left alone healers hostage tho.
I feel like I must be doing something wrong. I’ve got two Death Grips, I use the first one, they use a spell to escape. I use the second one, they use another escape ability. Then I’m just standing there waiting for cooldowns. But I keep seeing people say they get “kidnapped” by DKs… How is that even happening? What am I missing?
Press chains of ice. The goal is to be as annoying as possible. Stand in really awkward positions or drag them behind line of site. I also like to kidnap people and keep them deep in the water if the BG allows it. Or dragging them into a house and keeping them 100% slowed. Just grip, chains of ice, pony another 30 yards, then grip them again, now they’re 60 yards away from their team with perma slowed. By the time they’ve crawled back a good 25 yards, 1 grip is already back up, now use it again.
Obviously there is times where paladins and things will peel for their healers, but if you’re playing on a base where there’s only 1 healer, you can practically keep them there until someone comes and helps them. You can kidnap both healers also. Just grip both of them, and keep them slowed. It’s super affective against priests because they can’t really do anything about it, as they have no real mobility lol.
ye as annie said it only applies to bg’s and only healers, mostly priests.
if u try to kidnap a dps he will obviously fight u and kill u if u just use grips and slows on him.
Dud until a warrior leap to a target the target dash blink etc awaay yearss before the leap land so dont compare….

DKs have far too much annoying control. They need nerfed.
The whole healer stealer thing applies more to Blood DK as grip is on short CD + you have gorefiends grasp/silence if talented. But even they were nerfed slightly with the removal of walking dead pvp talent.
Sure DK’s in general are annoying, but that’s sort of their job to piss off priests etc.
