Faction change for allied races (BFA)

so. I am thinking of race changing this character after getting the Zandalari allied races, to get “quick access” to the alliance allied races. would that work, since they’re “tecnically” the respective reputations, or would I still have to farm up those allied races. and would I lose access to the horde allied races, since I race changed the character with the achievement?

You would be able to get the reputations yes, but the other criteria of unlocking the respective allied races remains.

Since you’ve unlocked the Horde allied race, the achievement is bound account-wide and you will not lose the ability to create any characters in the future with that allied race.
