So we’ve been camping the fallen charger in a group for about 4 or so hours
we were positioned at the stairs at Crucible of the Damned since it’s Venthyr assault
4 hours later we get the emote that the rare spawned
no sight of him
we start going around looking for him
literally a minute later we get the emote that the rare despawned, which means that he spawned very close to Korthia near the end of his route…
Is this intended ?
or maybe he was killed fast because people are now 1 patch later than he was released

Did you position yourself to also be at Ve’nari’s cave entrance?
When i got my Fallen Charger i was looking at the map near Ve’nari’s cave entrance and it spawned on top of me. 
Since you said it de-spawned 1 min later it’s possible it was on that path.
Google its route, spread out, tag when spawn, kite till everyone gets there, kill and collect the mount, simples.
