Strike all nearby enemies for [3 * (10% of Attack power)% + (30% of Attack power)%] Physical damage, and increase your chance to dodge by 100% for 1 sec. <-- Remove this
Fel EruptionTalent
10 Fury / 10 Pain 20 yd range
Instant cast 30 sec cooldown
Requires Demon Hunter (Havoc)
Requires level 108
Impales the target for (32.76% of Attack power) Chaos damage and stuns them for 4 sec. <-- change this to apply a 4 second root.
blade dance dodge and fel erruption stun aren’t the problem, the problems are deeper than that
With blade dance it is that it’s DH’s hardest hitting spell by far when in reality it should do like 20% of the damage of a chaos strike in single target
fel erruption stun isn’t a problem either imo as they sacrifice their only real slow to spec it, mana burn is the core issue. fel erruption only enables it
The fact remains that you cannot kite Demon Hunters, and having 2 stuns, a range interrupt and a Sap is too much pressure. The reason behind removing the additional stun would be they would have the exact same damage output, but free up cast / player choice, in addition to allow counter gameplay in the form of root removal. a very strong and much needed nerf.
Pretty cool if they remove this beacause as Marksmanship hunter seing all aimed shot dodged make you want hating yourself.
Agree on that , i think that overpower too much the DH is too much recurrent stun. With less stun and adding a root sure it don’t share the DR stun with Fel Nova but at least the targeted can still continue to cast and continue his pressure or can dispell himself or crow control DH before mana rift
it can be dispelled too so if you got a Shadow Priest with you he can mass dispell that. And that do not profit paladin but hunter / priest / druid / monk in the process so that is a good thing.
Yes but at least when you see you are rooted you can use freedom ability to get out of it or at the second you see you are rooted you can CC the DH. With the stun you can’t CC back the DH.
The real problem with Blade Dance is, as Tom mentioned, that it’s always the best button to press in both single target and AoE. If they want it to do this much damage, then they need to DRASTICALLY increase the fury cost of it, or it should do far less damage, and only be worth pressing in AoE or if you want to use it as an immunity window.
There’s no reason for this ability to be as insanely powerful as it currently is. Outside of Blade Dance, Mana Burn should be adjusted (removed) before touching their CC, since their stuns wont feel nearly as oppressive without Mana Burn
