Didn’t flamestrike get a massive buff on the last tuning pass?
Blizzard always punishes Fire Mages. People keep writing endlessly that their DPS outside of Combustion is too low. But instead, they buff Paladins. And they never do anything about it
Fire is feeling absolutely horrible. Our dps is significantly lower (more than 20%) than before the patch. The nerf to ignite and the removal of time anomaly has made the spec feel horrible (especially in dungeons/m+).
@Blizzard, please retune fire mages.
Seconded.
I was saying it for months, once we lose that tier set that enables massive CDR and combustion uptime, we’re going to be dog tier without tuning
But here not only tuning is required, especially in the talent tree.
the tuning waiting room zzz
Fire Mage is very good. But it is not for you.
Fire mage is the worst spec at the moment. Last season I was doing fine especially towards the end but now damage is non existent.
It’s a paradox that if you activate Combustion at the start of a boss fight, you don’t show up on the DPS meter. First of all, the Fire Mage is a burst class, which means that during its single-target burst, it should easily be doing 12 to 13 million DPS (on the pull with a potion and Bloodlust/Heroism). If Blizzard would instead combine the spell Unleash Inferno with Sun King’s Blessing (SKB), that would be the best buff for the Fire Mage.
