I love Fire how it is right now, I only wish they would change 2 minor things.
Increase Pyroblast flat damage with 3%.
Decrease casttime off Pyroblast while inside Combustion with 1 second.
This would increase it’s ST damage a tiny bit without derailing it into an OP state.
It would also feel like you are making use off Pyroclasm stack’s inside combustion more worthwhile.
Right now if you cast 4s in your combustion you ruin the entire flow off your combat, this should not be the case.
I feel like 2 seconds might be a bit much initially, however 1 second is a descent start and it would make a world off difference.
I only suggested the casttime decrease inside off Combustion because that’s where it really messes up the flow off the entire spec and cooldown window.
I don’t see a problem with 4 seconds cast outside off Combustion though, provided Pyroclasm already enhances the damage done.
inside combustion there is no way it is worth hardcasting and you should not to do so.
4 seconds pyroblast hard cast time does not worht it(unless you have to activate skb). The dmg boost provided by pyroclasm is too small to justify the downtime. It is breaking the flow of the spec on top of that plus it proccs way too frequently to just sit there do nothing for 4 seconds this frequently for so little bonus dmg.
Yh it is. IBs into instants take priority but clasm is worth using ahead of PFs for instants if: a) you have 2 charges of pyroclasm and enough time to cast it inside of combustion, b) you have a charge that will expire before you can use it to activate skb and it will fit inside combustion.
This is on ST, if your cleaving its more complicated because of the double mastery of the instant pyros.
