I’m currently lvl90 with 74 skill in Midnight Fishing.
However, fishing pools are not showing on minimap and there’s no Find Fish on minimap filter.
I’ve tried disabling all addons with no success.
I’ve also tried buying the fishing book off the vendor in Silver moon but it says I already know it.
p.s. Is there a way of raising this issue with an in-game ticket because when i try raising a ticket it just sends me round in circles and I still can’t raise a ticket.
Because bugs are not reported via a ticket, thats why it won’t let you raise it as a ticket. You need to report it as a bug using the in-game bug reporting tool, not a ticket.
You won’t receive a personal reply to the bug report, be aware of that.

What are you calling the minimap filter? Could you share a screenshot so others may see what you’re seeing please?

You would need to upload the image somewhere, then paste that url into your answer, if your trust level is too low, you’ll need to highlight the url and use the </> button.
That only works with links. So copy it to your OneDrive/DropBox or whatever other tool you’re using and share the file. Copy-Paste the URL to that file in your message.
Are you using addons? Some may interfere, especially if you’re using more than one addon that are all “fighting” to display something on the minimap. If you do not use addons, removing your Cache folder, the WTF folder (any saved variables will be reset!), and AddOns folder might help..
I think it’s easiest for me just to explain the minimap options (That i access by pressing the “M” key).
At the top right of the minimap, there’s a symbol that looks like binoculars.
When i click on that it shows what i want see on the minimap.
So it starts with World Quests and finishes with Show Digsites.
But there’s no option to show Fish on any of the above or any of the sub-menus.
I’ve tried disabling my addons but it didn’t help.
Deleting my Cache isn’t going to be fun because i have 11 alts.
Re-doing everything for them would be a real pain
Fishing was changed last expansion and new aspiring anglers now need to learn the find fish ability separately from the fishing skill.
Zel’kara the Spear or Hav’kalo in Zul’Aman can sell you an Angler’s Guide which will enable the option on use.
I tried that previously with Olirea’s Angler’s guide in Silvermoon but the book just says already known.
M would normally open your big map not the minimap.
The minimap is just on screen and has it’s own menu. So normally to access tracking you just press the binoculars
Do you hide your minimap or use an addon?
I don’t use an addon for the minimap and the only icons around the minimap are for RareScanner and Atlasloot.
Without those the minimap is just bare.
I think you’re onto something though, i can’t access the minimap menu filters, just the large map filters where there isn’t a fishing filter.

I found the filter underneath the Quests Window which had covered it up as the icon was very small.
Clicking on that icon showed me the menu with Find Fish.
