Fotm Rerollers

Playing a single class/spec the entire expansion is boring as hell, and when you lose the fotm lottery, you’re stuck with a disadvantaged character for 2 years.

Its easy to play say 3-6 classes for variety. Might as well, if it took as long as it took in vanil we would all play 1 class but the game has changed. Im fine with this as long they keep tuning the outliers and stop making grotesque oversights like retocalypses, those are mistakes that should not come in game when we have ptr and some testing otherwise hopefully.

Maybe it’s because 90% of your action bars are filled with utility and crowd control, so you don’t have to rely on killing through dampened healing?

Or do you actually believe that every spec in the game should deal exactly the same DPS in all types of PVP content?

Why would you play a meme spec with just a 4-second stun and a 3-second incap that removes dots when you could play Feral—if both did the same DPS? Oh, wait… Feral actually did more DPS last season, and no one played Windwalker. I guess that answers the question.

Im curious, according to you, which specs should deal more damage than others? Maybe Sub Rogues? Mages? Other CC bots? Or maybe WW and Fury that have nothing else to win the games?

Or the simple solution that could be done by Blizzards is… …

To balance there dame game, min every second week so fotm rerolling is kind of not necesary at all

That should not much too ask for in a game where we pay for the expansion, a monthly sub, have an ingame shop for services, toys, mounts and transmogg
on top of having gold too sell

CC alone won’t win you games in most cases. We have seen time and time again how unsufficient damage leaves specs to rot in B-tier or C-tier and high dmg tuning launches specs in to A+ and S-tier regardless of their CC-capabilities or their lack thereof.

BM has unrelenting sustained dmg while MM has incredible burst. Survival has neither. For a setup spec it has subpar burst dmg and the sustained dmg isn’t incredible either. Again, it comes down to dmg tuning.

Another aspect unrelated to viability is fun. Bad damage tuning not only makes specs less viable, but also decreases the agency you have over the outcome of a match. Especially shuffle where you can’t coordinate. Losing due to lack of reliable dmg on a priority target, even though you are playing decently and CCing the hell out of people, isn’t fun.

it´s not just only Venruki, but i would say u can Blame every content creator with an big audience for it

i mean they do it anyway only for clicks because it is cheap to produce

i dont wanna sound biased, but u can actually Blame Streamer/content creator for the big meta Shift

it´s just way easier for the normal consumer to get the Info out of a video instead of “by reading it”

so they remove a big barrier which creates more Fotm Timmys, than without, the same counts for M+

streamer/content creator at this range did more dmg to the game, than actual helped (im not talking about streamer with just 100-200 viewrs, what do normal Streams) i mean the Big fishes, with an own big Youtube Channel what is only there to make more money)

ofc u cant blame only streamer for it, if Blizz bring more balance patches, Rerolling wouldn’t be so bad, but thanks to the Shareholders what dont even know how wow looks like, they wont to it to safe money/ or atleast really “rarely”
