Free? It’s dirt cheap…

A single use free name change per character would be welcome as well for those who want to change their gender : )

Blizzard already make Transmog and Barbershop changes free during trial of style events, why is it such a big deal?

Is it cheap? Maybe with the limited customization options we have, but once each race have 10 categories of customization, and around 3 times more options, it will get a little expensive. If you ever made a new character and didn’t like the appearance, it can take several attempts and tries on the game barbershop because the character customization screen don’t simulate the way your character look in-game that well. And since most people that play the game have a lot of alts, it can add up really fast.

It shouldn’t take you several attempts to get it right.
I can kinda get behind one free trip but not a weeks worth of it.

For me it does, and for a lot of races i tried.

Also another thing I forgot to mention is that my race only got eye colours.
Not every race got new options.

It’s hard to improve on perfection.

But I think there may be some underlying problems here if the barbershop fee is enough to even make a dent in someones savings account.

its only going to make a dent though because they’re indecisive :stuck_out_tongue:

The barber has got mouths to feed you know.

So fortunate for us then that the Wowhead team provided us with a superb dressing room for us to experiment with.

Then again the eyes on most races have been messed up for quite some time now.

ARs were not planned on having any new options. Velfs are just a compromise with the helf fans.

I know
I just meant it in a way to say that lots of players aren’t affected by the added options

I’ve got my eye colour all planned out ready for prepatch

Also worth noting for those who don’t know, in the wowhead dressing room you can import your characters. That way you dont have to start from the ground up.

You could create a new character to try some different options then use the options that look best on your main. That way you don’t have to change multiple times on your main.
You can use the wardrobe to put your gear on top if you want to combine it.
Then keep changing whilst checking the preview.
At lvl 1 it should be really cheap. The costs are based on lvl. Might even be free at lvl 1, I don’t remember been a while since I changed my bank chars hair.

It’s not quite like it, people are not getting it, the best way to see if you like the way your character look is testing it in the game itself the the character proper and transmog, Blizzard see this and that is why they enable free Transmog and Barbershop during every Trial of Style.

Doing it on the character creation screen and with low level alts don’t quite hit the mark.

Actually, I think that’s so people don’t have to be eye-wateringly rich to take part in the event.

Wowhead exists, you can import your character, mog and all, and play around with it there. People have offered you solutions, take them or leave them.

I think people still didn’t understood the idea of verifying and seeing how your character looks in-game to be the best way of getting the look right.

I do understand you, I just don’t think its really an issue. I’ve never had to go back more than once.

Don’t get me wrong, I won’t be unhappy for free changes, I just think the need for repeat trips is pretty niche

That’s what I was thinking as well.

That being said, there’s nobody hurting if they’re being made free so sure, why not?
