As much I’d like a transfer for free to a better server, Draenor would be my destination which is experience same issues as Kazzak.
Reality is these issues will be over in a few days or by the weekend.

I get dc 9/10 times. When I do get in it will dc after awhile, maybe play 10-20 minutes tops

If they give us a free transfer, I’m very tempted to take it. Rather play on a low population server than no server at all. There is no way I’m paying to transfer 5 characters and I don’t feel like starting at lvl 1 when the expansion just came out that I want to experience.

Yay i reached the character selection screen… and after 5 mins black screen i finally logged in omg.
I warned people on servers like Kazzak there’d be problems. Let’s be realistic - actiblizz are running on servers from 18th century. I don’t get why people act surprised when they play the highest population servers and get lag.

Wdym? It is what is happening people do not want to end up on empty servers so when they pay they go to the most populated ones.
It’s really not that complicated.
In the beginning some people leave their server for a server with friends. This happens pretty much at random.
After a little while there starts being an imbalance where some servers become a little smaller.
That makes the process accelerate.
Eventually so many people have left a server that people worry it empties, so they all leave.
This can be stopped by not allowing so many people to move to one server so that they have to disperse.
Failing that (which obviously they did) you can merge servers - but when they do merge servers they apparently merge an officially English and officially Portuguese server together like a bunch of idiots.
So that’s where we are.
10:43 AM even now it takes 5-10 mins to log in…
If there would be a free transfer, I would take it immediately. It’s 11AM and I can’t get to character selection…
I expected there to be large queues in the evening but not being able to log in before midday is absurd.
