Free Transfers to Gehennas Closing Soon

ok i dont know why im trying to enlighten u its obviously pointless. all the 1 faction servers are just because blizzard is a very bad company right? not because people dont care about world pvp. literally 2 servers were balanced and 1 of them just lost all its horde because PLAYERS have chosen to leave the balanced server. they cared more about cheaper RAID consumables then world pvp. literally delusional. cya my dude, i tried to help u understand but u dont want to

ill just say this 1 more time. classic vanilla world pvp was fun, u could screw a guys world buffs by killing him. there was no flying so it was fun. tbc with flying and no world buffs, people lost interest in world pvp. keep having wet dreams about world pvp

3 years firemaw had of decent faction balance and access to a world of ganking 3 years, both in classic and in tbc dont you ever forget that my friend

that is longer then a whole retail expansion

I mean this speaks for itself.

To be quite frankly 65:35 isn’t a balanced realm. Only locking of Firemaw prevented Alliance from overrunning it without even single Horde player leaving the realm.

If only Alliance transfers were locked, before server hit 25K+ overall population, the situation would be better.

What if all alliance on Firemaw transfer to Golemagg? Then we can finally have a balanced PVP server! Just a thought…

To me this seems like a getaway solution for Blizzard. Firemaw has long been a pain to Blizzard due to overpopulation and this “exploit” to use FCT to another realm is a solution to ease login queue issue in Wrath. This blue post is nothing but a final push to those still hesitating to transfer

Doubd it. The only thing it serves is pushing thouse who were hesitant to pay for transfer to Gehennas, before free transfers from Firemaw would take all slots. Then they cut off FCT route and make thouse who got late pay or suffer on Alliance Firemaw. However in the end it achieves almost nothing as login queues will begin on Gehennas soon, instead of Firemaw.

so true, they are so arrogant and wanna push the narrative of nobody wants pvp, make classic into retail and remake all misstakes again, they cant stand us having fun when its not their latest retail expansion

they want the playerbase to say oooh ? see you dont like it ? come back to retail… BUY OUR TOKENS

Is the char transfer via Razorgore still open?

Firemaw is bringing with them SR-pug groups that were sorely abscent from GDKPhennas. GDKPs were not even close to as dominant on Firemaw.

Yeah I don’t know where this idea came from that they are “bringing” the GDKP’s to Gehennas, it was almost exclusively GDKP to begin with. The issue with Firemaw players being here is turning it into a massively over-populated realm with the same issues Firemaw had 2 months ago.

Now we have a consumable market where supply does not meet the demand, causing prices to skyrocket, meanwhile they still haven’t sufficiently increased the layers to make up for that. Occasionally we also have queues to get on, which will turn into 12 hour queues around prepatch and WOTLK launch.

Blizzard ruined Gehennas in the space of 48h and are refusing to fix it. What a complete s hit show.

Nope. It was closed this morning.
You can still FCT from Firemaw to Razorgore, but Gehennas is no longer available as a destination realm for FCT from Razorgore.

Firemaw and Razorgore share destination realms now with the obv. exception of Razorgore being a destination from Firemaw

I wonder if anyone is stuck on Razorgore  and has to go to the other big Horde realm. Golemag I think.

Or maybe this is just a case of Hanlon’s Razor

When?

I logged in with no queue 18:55 on raidreset evening. If the server is queueless at that point, there are no queues.

Had a 1min queue earlier 7pm ST, not the first time either.

Hm. Strange.

I love Blizzard’s standards regarding server size
A 1200 pop server is considered medium whereas a 20000 pop server is considered “definitely not overpopulated”.

Lock Gehennas, and allow Free Character Transfers away from it.

Why? To spread the population before it’s too late, and you have to deal with 20 hour queues on wotlk release.

Edit: What are you gonna do for people, who didn’t log in during the time, that the game was broken, and see now all their friends having transfered off to gehennas. What will you do for them? Force them to pay for a transfer, because of a bug? I hope, that you will tackle this problem head on, and not just ignore it.
