Fresh start after a 3-year break: Looking for a chatty guild!

Hello everyone!

I’m looking to return to World of Warcraft after about a 3-year break. I don’t have any friends left playing the game, so this is going to be a completely fresh start for me.

I’m interested in the Anniversary and Retail, but due to my busy work schedule, I’m planning to play mostly casually. Because of this, I’m a bit torn on which version would suit my limited time better.

I would love to get your thoughts on which mode I should focus on. Also, if anyone is in an active, chatty guild and would like to invite me to their server, I would be really happy to join!

Thanks in advance for your replies.

Hey, first of all welcome back… I’d pick retail because it lets you play in many ways and you can have fun on par with everyone else as a casual with limited time.

Many players choose to play solo these day, or you could join a low pressure AOTC focused guild like mine, or just get into m+, main delves, housing, anything really.

My guild is very chatty imo, in-game and on discord, so if you’d like to join you can find it normally in the guild finder and apply, you will be accepted.

Your guild sounds like a guild that is cooking rodents in witch cauldron in undercity. :scream:

Haha. We cook raid bosses! And the food theme carries in our guild ranks and discord :face_savoring_food:

Apparently, it has quite a long history that I understood started in Classic. The current guild leader makes it a very welcoming place and the old one still pops in sometimes on discord. They value the community they built.
