Yeah I’m not trying to defend that specific person, I was talking more in general when some people get caught in the crossfire of other people abusing the report feature.
That is correct. That the system is basically poop has been proven from day 1. However if one wants to appeal a ban/silence i would always advise either keep reopening a ticket (they have to answer after a while without copy paste) or go through live chat.

Getting silenced for months because of spam.
But my friend didn’t do anything wrong and I talk about emphathy while making personal attacks.

Played for 15 years.
Never been silenced.
You literally made it sound there if getting silenced is “part” of this game.
So if you arent getting silenced you are playing this game wrong.
And just drop the act: you got silenced and not your friend. But you know you cant discuss actions against your account on the forums so you conjured up a friend to be able to discuss it.
And finally, i agree with everyone here, if “he” didnt take note on his earlier silences and continued his behaviour its his own damn fault.

Isnt the silence for a few days the “gap” to rehabilitate?
Reflect on your actions, understand why said actions are taken and make sure to adhere to the rules to avoid another silence?

If something keeps getting you silenced, stop doing that thing. Doesn’t get easier than that. I had multiple silences before and i stopped doing those things and guess what? I haven’t been silenced since then.

I ran out of my capabilities to report you, because i did find too many replies to be harrasment or against the CoC.

I am really curious what he did, i have been playing Wow since TBC and i never got silenced or any warning and i just say what pops in my head, i am never exrtemely rude or something. But sometimes i call someone a bad word. I didn’t even know it was a thing in WOW i know the overwatch report system is a joke but i’ve never heard it about WOW before. So you friend must be horrible at communicating at a normal lvl. He probably deserved the silence

Pretty sure it’s boosting spam in trade chat , he said he was spamming it more than 10 times per minute so it got him reported and muted. He also said he had over 20 strikes above for spamming and yet he just kept going at it. Well deserved.
