Game not launching

same, it took many minutes after pressing play for game to appear, i didn’t think it would…

Same issue…
2nd day.
First time happened yesterday.
5-10 mitutes nothing.
Then ALL client start to pop up after.
That is 100% not PC issue.
That is 100% client side issue.
And MUST be hotfixed

Same here.

Hopefully they will hotfix it soon as it’s pretty annoying.

EDIT: why the heck is this thread marked as ‘solved’??

Two things worked for me:

  1. scan and repair, but it takes such a long time, 5 or more minutes!
  2. forcibly closing “battlenet update agent” through Task Manager, preferably after a clean battlenet client start

Forcing dx11 didnt work (although for me the corresponding option was -d3d11)

Same problem here since yesterday.

Scan and repair and then it installs an update and that fixes it but only for a few game starts (maybe 2-5 or so), then same problem again and needs another Scan and repair and update.

Same here…No problem yesterday. Havin issues all day…Blizz ?? wtf…

Same issue here. I’ve gotten it to launch by uninstalling or even just attempting to uninstall Bnet.

same problems with loading, when load game background music is mixed up and v loud, then game freezes… played for 15mins then booted, and now “no servers available” msg … BLZ51934200… GGggrrrrrrr

Servers are currently down for maintenance so that’s what the message is.

Can confirm that this is also happening for me. Everyone reading this, even at a glance because you google searched and saw everyone’s having the same issue - BE LOUD ABOUT IT. Blizzard won’t fix it otherwise. Post in here confirming you had the same issue.

Having the same issue as described above.

Yep, same here earlier this evening.

Happend again. Game wont launch when pressing play…

Today, this is still a thing, nothing fixed yet.
Yesterday, we had to use the scan and repair tool 2 times already. Now, today, this will be the 3rd time.

Maybe uninstall reinstall the game works. Did someone try that?

It’s not an issue on our end so doing that won’t solve anything. It’s a Blizzard issue THEY need to solve it.

I tried that yesterday. I deleted the whole WoW folder, did a complete reinstall. It worked for a while, but I had the same problem this morning. Scan and repair fixed it again, for now

I have the same problem, and each time it happens i have to go through 10+ mins of scanning and repair.

The problem is with Windows because scan and repair still work, and not all players are affected.

Same problem for the last 2 days.
This problem is as old as Methuselah at this point and VERY annoying
