He was a damned legend, no one paralleled him in terms of sheer energy and reinvention, possibly Bowie, but You compare the sheer populist energy of “Don’t stop me Now” which is just a guaranteed floor filler in a nightclub even now, and “Barcelona” with him and Montserrat Caballe, which is beautiful enough to earn tears from the stoniest of faces, Still makes me weep. not cry, just a tear. because it is pure talent. Pure excellence, Every generation is blessed with a few, Mercury, Cobain, PWEI, Public Enemy and NWA, It was a generation rabid for the throat of established music, and I can listen to Queen, or ‘Smells like Teen Spirit’ and straight away feel like I was a kid in my twenties, This said, the same is true of “The Safety Dance” Which is still my ultimate happy music!

Oh, one of my try to wake up singing songs! One of the first I learned in English, and it was in school. The lyrics were milder but still about being dead drunk. (yes we had very very weird schools, nowadays the parents would ragequit the kids for much less but that wasn’t possible before.

It is pretty much direct translation when you run lyricks side by side. It is very well made and with French version, its my favourites. But in RU version the male vocal chorus somehow sounds more depressive and emotional. More longing, sad, more … touching. 1st time I heard the ru-version, I went all wet in eyes.
But its well done in any language. Blizzard knows their stuff, and so do the people localising this game.
She sounds more like ‘strong mage’ in this one. More vengeful.
