I don’t even get it anymore. I get that it’s about customer retention. Make players want to stick around for another month so they can get the Trading Post stuff. But cowboys? Why cowboys?! What does that creative meeting look like where that theme comes out on top??
It’s not Kim Kardashian in Fortnite levels of ridiculousness, but we’re getting there. Slow and steady, we’re getting there.
I am pretty sure at this point the devs/management make the game for themselves and we are just living in it as NPCs…
