Give us the ability to turn off friendly players spell effects

Or I’m just gonna have to straight up stop inviting frost mages. Can’t see anything with them in the party.

doesn´t ffxiv have this option?

It does, it has options for self, party, everyone else, and the option is on 3 tiers - full effects, limited (keeps some relevant stuff equivalent of which would be stuff like AMZ or PW:Barrier), and off which just turns everything off fully.

yea, it can get very flashy at times x.x not sure why WoW doesn´t have that option though it isn´t as flashy as ffxiv.

On a large pull with a frost mage that is able to get out several orbs at the same time, it’s very flashy. Downright impossible to see the ground effects.

The only settings I’m aware of is the spell density ones.

Ultra High, you badass :sunglasses:

Interestingly enough, even though it says essential skills the monk jadefire stomp just doesn’t show (: Wouldn’t that be essential so the monk would be able to attack the things I’m pulling from inside it

I play MW s o it is odd as I have mine set to Essential and I can always see my stomp.

The only one I have a problem with sometimes, it very irratic, is RoP. Sometimes I cannot see it or when I want to place it. It is as if you falls through the floor and or is just invisible. I try to gauge by my mouse pointer in those few instances.

PS with Essntial setting I almost never see anybody else’s spell except FMage Orb so I doubt this setting will be much help.

Would also be a nice for instances of multiple DKs in the party. Nothing like standing in D&D only to realize it’s not yours and you’re not cleaving.

You always see your own skills.

Yeah that setting is about as consistent as clothing sizes. -_-

Also wdym frost looks spammy beyond all reason?! I think that’s a gross misrepresentation. We only fill up half the screen and tank your FPS to 6.9.

Yea thought you said you cant see yours. Yep I can see mine except Ring of Peace, which is a placement spell. For some reason it dissapears under the floor so most of the time I am guessing where I am putting by following my mouse pointer. Annoying though as sometimes it pushes an add backwards iso of forward to the melee.

The AoE marker is still buggy then? (:
