So much for prestige. They are going to add recolored Gladiator mounts to the in-game shop now. Starting with the TBC armored netherdrake.
You can make much better looking “tbc glad mount” by farming rep in dragonflight for netherwing drake

Those netherdrakes don’t have armor and are very obviously not from PVP.

You can farm valdrakken rep for body armor and loamm niffen for helmet
Looks better than any tbc glad mount for me just because of better graphics

It’s about prestige, not looks. If you want an armored netherdrake you should have earned it by being in the top 0.5% when TBC was current content.

They made feldrake for twitch drops which used to cost thousands of dollars

I mean it’s still different colour. Same thing was in WoD when you had Gladiator like mount just different colour. And same thing was when in DF they released this Frostwyrm - same mount but colour makes the difference. Anyway most of TBC glads quit the game or are old casuals anyway so who cares to be fair.
I have a TBC glad mount and i care. The mage tower cat forms are forever locked away because of “prestige” and i can’t ever get them on my druid. So nobody else should be getting my glad mount for that very same reason.

They still don’t get your mount but a bootleg they paid for. Same model different look. It’s like S2 SL glad mount and S4 one. S4 is uglier but more prestigeous because few people have it.
it looks like its using the new netherdrake model not the cool old one so its w/e. no one will ever use it. its more like old t6 from BT vs the t69 or whatever from tomb of sargeras. its trying to look like it but it looks no where near as iconic.

Yeah, I find the paid for mounts are more in my mount bar then found ones, cos if I don’t like’em, I don’t buy’em

The first four Gladiator mounts did not have Gladiator in the name, they were just “Swift Nether Drake”, “Merciless Nether Drake“, and so on. And you did not even get a Gladiator achievement, since those did not exist yet.
But you got them later when achievments were introduced bro. Titles are still there - first title is actually just gladiator and then they started adding adjectives. I mean I get why are you upset don’t get me wrong and I’m for exclusiveness but your mount is still exclusive. As I said Frostwyrms from Wrath have two of their recolors as Glory Raider achievment and from that Timewalking event if DF. The mount from the store has different colour and your is still unique.
Let’s face the truth cosmetics and economy in this game is broken beyond repair. You cannot fix this infation, botting, boosting industry and WoW tokens. Most of the store mounts actually have cooler models than these you can get from the achievments and it makes me sad. That’s sadly how gaming market works. They do everything to milk us. There is a light in the tunnel though with Old Runescape. Maybe more companies will follow them.

Actually not, you didn’t get a Gladiator achievement retroactively after achievements were introduced. You just kept the mount.
