Gobbo Lagfest

Often, when I go to the Gobbo spawn point, where there are many people, WoW runs like a Powerpoint (might even crash), and it is generally a lagfest. I have been in many places with more players than that, and it doesn’t lag. Is this some faulty code on your part?
Has anyone been experiencing the same thing?

Look, my PC is not good, never was, but it is capable of running WoW at almost max graphics with decent fps, so I’m guessing it’s not its fault.

Have the players in those places been constantly casting spells, moving etc?

Any action (including automatic buff gains, spawns like Wild Imps etc) will need to be transferred between the server and all the players in range. The growth is expotential when number of players increases.

Your computer does not affect this.

Maybe, but it lags way too much, and it is the powerpoint kind of lag, not the latency with which stuff appears etc
