I just woke up and there are so many replies! I didn’t expect this thread to go big!

I’m not the biggest fan on new Thrall! I really enjoyed him in Warcraft 3 till around Cataclysm, now he seems a bit off. I hope they make him an awesome character again, and not someone who just lays down while Jaina saves his butt.
I’m sorry but I couldn’t stay more on Alliance, there was just not enough players to support it, and when my Alliance guild died everything felt so empty…

Well, I’ve seen the grass and I’d rather have grass than no grass at all.
As stated above it is always greener on the other side, I have had no problem playing and doing the kind of gameplay and content i wanted when i played retail, perhaps it is just a question of people investment and not all down to a faction.
You can pick your favorite horde leader then. Maybe it’s Lor’themar who has a beef with Sylvanas, maybe Baine will come around, maybe Thalyssra will deal with this embarrassment to elven kind.
Well, I feel like the Alliance population is not really keen on going for CE. Or even going for AOTC.

Not true, I don’t see Horde people saying they wish they were Alliance.
Horde finished their Hall of Fame on the 03/02/2021, Alliance didn’t finish theirs until 07/03/2021, over a month later.
Of those 100 guilds 41 were European for Alliance and 50 for Horde, so EU’s Alliance ratio is worse too.
Crucible of Storms didn’t even get 100 Alliance guilds to down it on Mythic. Globally. An entire globe of players and Alliance only manages 42 guilds.
Look at M+, yeah the very tip of the iceberg is Alliance, but not even 3 pages in it swaps to Horde dominant, I’m 30 pages in and it’s like a 9:1 Horde to Alliance ratio.
RBGs dominantly Horde.
Arena is the same story is M+, the very top has decent Alliance representation, but just a few scrolls down and you’re back into Horde everywhere.
It’s not a case of grass is greener, Alliance have it worse. It’s night and day difference.

I said when i played retail I had no problem doing the kind of content pve or pvp i wanted , I do not care for the state and health of retail so whatever happens to the people who keep playing retail isn’t my pronlem it is their. you should reread it properly.
That is already the case (Dark iron gets almost double as much primary stat compared to Orc for 8 seconds.) Alliance racials in terms of damage are better compared to Horde ones (beside the troll racial that still seem to be strong for casters like warlocks.) Even that doesn’t help on the issue. Horde just has more players, and not even making Alliance racials broken will fix it. It will just tip the scale over to the other side (like how it was during Classic.)
Welcome to the dark side. Don’t forget to pet every vulpera you see, it is customary within the Horde.
I wish Alliance players wouldn’t need to swap over just to have access to high end content.

Well there is also always the risk of being excluded a,d/or the few people being able to run this content staying amongst themself… though it got worse as time passed imho…
On my time in retail i did over twenty realm with that char in order to meet different people and pratice my foreign skills, from finnish to polish realm to english/eu, french , etc… I have good memories of my time in french realms especially for raiding back then and playing epic battleground the french were very good as deadly as the german and much better than today tbc classic eu alliance it is ofc much better at night.
We all wished that. But as a liberal, well, I took actions instead of waiting and complaining. Acting is better than doing nothing.
Because the game has become harder over the course of its lifespan, so yeah, bad players are likely to get kicked.
And that’s the issue. I don’t know when you stopped retail, but that kinda reminds me Kim telling me that Alliance is still viable nowadays because Alliance had a solid playerbase years ago. Don’t get me wrong, but I don’t care aboot the situation years ago, what matters is what’s going on now.
Sadly, since the end of legion, the exodus has been growing steadily and that trend is here to stay.

Nobody loves the Horde, not even the Horde itself; we are just kinda stuck here for various reasons; playerbase, faction locked races, etc
But eventually our times come and we will return home
'till then, welcome, enjoy your stay, stay away from that dirty hellhole called Orgrimar and hang around civilized, neutral territories, like Dalaran
