About The Guild
Shrimpy was founded with the launch of Ashbringer by a group of British Shrimps who have been playing WoW & other games together for many years. With the sole intention of enjoying classic WoW. The only goal we set each tier is to clear content as fast as we can, during our 3+3 hour a week schedule.
This guild is more than just a raiding guild, it is a community of like-minded WoW players and friends that play other versions of WoW and other games together also.
Consumables and general “effort” is required. Enchants are supplied by our guild bank though, totally free of charge.
We use a loot council system, with RCLootCouncil and a custom priority list spreadsheet, which is updated prior to every phase.
We only raid 2 days a week, but many of our members take part in the various Ashbringer pug runs on off nights.
In the background, we are preparing for TBC and have started discussing setups/rerolls etc.
Our Goals
We set goals for each Phase, but the main objective will always be to clear the content as quickly as possible, without burning out and while still enjoying the hell out of the game. We’ve experienced raiding every day of the week or staying up all night to kill a boss before anyone else, we’re not trying to do that again.
Shrimpy is not a hardcore guild, we don’t plan on raiding more than 2 nights a week, but sometimes we will offer an extra optional raid day during the early days of new tiers.
