Hello there! So, there’s a thing happening.
What?
HW Horde’s first venture into the Molten Core! A fun, friendly event with no fighting or drama. We’ll try to kill some trash. We don’t want to be too ambitious, but if we make it to Lucifron and we have enough people then heck we might even try him too!
When?
We’re going to try start the group at 19:00 server time. We’ll make a start as soon as we can, and continue inviting until we’re full! Don’t worry if you can’t make it until 20:00, they’ll probably still be places.
Why?
For fun. For rep (For those who don’t know or remember, Hydraxian Waterlord Rep will be essential for when your guild eventually wants to summon Ragnaros!). To help build friendly relationships in the Horde community. Maybe even for the odd epic!
Rules:
This is a one-time event, for fun. We don’t want drama or fighting, so we’re setting some rules right now!
The BIG rule: No toxicity. No drama. If you’re constantly QQ’ing because you haven’t got Trueshot in your group, or because you don’t think a Boomkin deserves loot, or because someone’s Rend keeps knocking off Curse of Elements, or because someone fell in the lava, then you’ll be asked to leave. This is a chill fun run, not a min/max high end speedrun.
Loot:
Because this is pug and because we don’t want to waste time, the Loot Threshold will be set to EPIC. This means that Green and Blue items, such as crafting materials, will be looted by whoever the game gives the corpse to, just like Grey and White quality items. If you want to trade them to your guildies then feel free, but we’re not stopping between every pull to random roll an Essence of Fire.
Master Looting Epics. Any class that can use an item can roll on it if they want it - We’re not wasting time on bickering over what is best for what spec, save that for your weekly guild runs! Lawbringer can be rolled for by Enchanters.
*If for whatever reason the raid doesn’t trust me to hold Master Looter, then I am more than happy to pass ML over to whoever is voted “Most Trustworthy Horde of Hydraxian Waterlords”.
Anything Else?
I’ll be spending the next 24 Hours whispering every 58+ I can find, and spreading the word. If anyone has any questions or suggestions feel free to post them below or contact me in-game.
EDIT:
An important note! If you didn’t know, to enter Molten Core you need to complete the quest ATTUNEMENT TO THE CORE. This is a super easy quest, you just need to do half a BRD run and poke a thingy! You might’ve even done it without realising.
EDIT 2:
An answer to a common question - No, Discord is not required. You can sort that out with your guild runs next week. We’re not going to faff around waiting for 40 people to get on one discord for this fun run!
EDIT 3:
The invitation process: At 19:00 we’ll invite level 60s. After that, level 59s, then level 58s. There’s been a lot of interest voiced, but we’ll have to wait and see exactly how many people we get!
