And more importantly we take our first step on the trials of the wolf god tonight. Then north we go To different climates.

And if we have to negotiate with the elves by trampling them with clefthooves… Then diplomacy is indeed a glorious thing!

Over and under ridges, into furbolg camps and narrowly dodging elven partisans and a patrol of Alliance soldiers both, the Pilgrimmage had completed the first of it’s trials; gathering the nectar of Ursoc.

In high spirits, they finally arrived at their next destination - Nighthaven in Moonglade, where they would look for the subject of their next trial, and hopefully aid the nearby Horde settlement at the Irontree Clearing.

Through howling winds and whirling drifts of snow, the caravan had made it’s way to it’s next destination and found the second ingredient to their holy offering. Lo’gosh would be pleased.

Everlook in Winterspring would be their refuge for the coming days, where they’d try to find a way into Hyjal by land, and secure safe passage with the Cenarion Circle all the way to the World Tree.

Also, I’m happy to announce that we have ANOTHER stop confirmed for our merry little band; we’ll be going to HIGHMOUNTAIN after we’ve been to Suramar.

He gave the pale pine wood another stroke of the brush. The honey resin spreading from the bristles and into the grain of the kul’tiran pine. It was marvelous, a true joy to work on. Okiba couldn’t remember the last time he’d been so engrossed in a task, let alone glad to be doing it.

Two down, two to go.

He lent back, musing to himself as he looked over the progress of his creation. The Idol was taking true form now. The carved edges of the wood very much resembled the visage of the great wild god, the ghost wolf, Lo’gosh. From his striking pose, to muzzle, tail and bristled flecks of fur he had managed to carve something he could only view as beautiful. The bounty of the first trial was already reaping it’s rewards…

“First, seek the nectar of Ursoc, so that his fur may be ever-lasting. For this you must prove your unending tenacity.”

He recalled the words, and how it had led them to a village of ferocious, insane furbolg that jealously coveted a specially made honey resin used to harden and protect woods… finding the keg was easy. Fighting off nearly two hundred of them however was not. But they had succeeded, the communion had overcome and proven its ferocity before Lo’gosh.

And even now the resin seeped into the wood, coated it’s surface so that it was granted a golden tint atop that almost white pine. An idol to the ghost wolf indeed. And then there was the second trial…

“Second, as the snow threatens to snuff out all hope, battle on and trust in the pack, to claim fang and hide from wings of tattered black…”

The Ice Chimaera. It had been straight forward enough to locate and track-- though when it ambushed the hunting party, snatched him up and dropped him from a great height into a snow drift… all he could do was watch the others from a distance as they battled it’s icy breath and deadly swooping dives.

But they triumphed.

Indeed they had, the hunting party had pulled together and worked as a team, a true pack. They trusted each other, once more proving their worth. He glanced to his right at the great black, severed wing of a chimaera. It was huge! Though tattered as it was… he knew exactly what to make from it. The wild wolf allegedly had ankle bindings, though none knew why, so that is what this idol would get too. Ankle binding made from chimaera wing hide, strong as iron and ever lasting.

But what next?

He considered this, they were only half way. Two more riddles remained and would inevitably play on his mind… but that was for tomorrow, for now, another coat of varnish was much more important.

Okiba looked over the two Amber gems. He kept losing himself in them, he could stare for days and never see the same thing twice. The swirls of dark orange upon yellow just pulled you in and held you.

“Third, seek the amber eclipsed eyes of the moon mother from her owl kissed children, so that our fathers gaze may ever be upon you. Prove your teamwork, that you are a pack…”

And that they had, but now how he expected. Everyone had walked back to Everlook stunned, confused, bewildered with energy. Some were even overjoyed. It had been a clash of wills, skills and mastery. A true contest.

But nobody wants to brag about that battle…

Indeed, after all, who wants to tell their friends they won some priceless gems from a group of bling covered Moonkin in a dance off?

Nobody, that’s who.

Tonight marks the next leg of our journey! Interested people should make sure they’ve done the Hyjal quests if they want to participate in the event itself, but we’ll make sure to camp at a more open place afterwards.

Pandaria - Jade Forest, Honeydew Village and Grookin Hill - February 10th-20th.

Broken Isles - Suramar, Meredil and Suramar City - February 20th-March 1st

Broken Isles - Highmountain, Thunder Totem and various towns - March 1st-10th

I know that some of you are are going to attend the monk tournament and even the cloud serpent air race.

Know for the monk tournament that if you have signed up as a master that you should keep available on Saturday as well due to the likelihood of the masters’ bracket bleeding over into day two.
