[H-RP] The Bloodied Banner đŸš©

What and who are we?

Founded by a group of fellow members of the Horde The Bloodied Banner is an order, which strives to better the Horde in any possible way. Equality, unity, acceptance and respect are valued highly by the members of the Banner, who are of all Horde races, but connected by the same goal. Whether one carries an axe, libram, grimoire, hammer or a fishing pole, everyone sharing our purpose will find a place among us. We are loyal to the Horde itself and it’s people, ideals, cultures and traditions, not to a single ruler alone. Whether a member of the Banner will join a specific mission is their choice only. None of the Banner will force participation and contribution upon anyone.

What is required from a member of the Banner?

While you are counted among the banner, you will honor and respect its ideals. Those ideals are that the Horde is family, brothers and sisters. All of its people and allies must be respected for who they are. All Horde races and cultures are to be respected even if it has differences from your own, you will accept that not all follow the same traditions. Dishonoring these ideals can or will result in banishment from the banner unless the offer to redeem yourself is given, it is your choice to accept or decline so you may walk your own path.

Why “the Banner”?

The Bloodied Banner is a flag, well that much is obvious. The disparate group that first carried it into battle did so in aid of one of their own, trusted kin and a friend. This flag has been with them since, and gives the greater group known as ‘the banner’ a focal point and modicum of tradition. The Banner traditionally is kept by the speakers and only raised when the speakers and group at large herald a conflict against a hated foe. The banner is simple and made of rugged clot, showing the symbol of the Horde in red upon a jet black field. The hem and edges are all marked and stained with the blood of all the orders members, having sworn the blood oath of the horde and marked the occasion with a sliced palm and a symbolic grasp of the banner they are sworn to.

What can we give you?

Roleplay, obviously! A place among those who seek to simply have fun with other, fellow players. We’re a bunch of different people, with different personalities, attitudes and of different age, so guilds IC goal kind of coincides with our OOC goal, as we all accept and respect each other. A friendly approach is also a feature of many, if not all, of us. Whether you’re a veteran or new to roleplay, you will be greeted warmly and given guidance, should this be needed. In short, Banner is a place for all who seek to enjoy a wide spectrum of aspects to Horde RP.

How do I join?

You can either find us around in Orgrimmar (or Crossroads sometimes) and approach us IC, have RP with us and ask to join, or you can contact us OOC in-game, so we can have an OOC chat about joining first, should you want it, and then arrange an IC meeting.

Recruiting Officer(s) : Okiba, Krumothh, Datura, Zulgarr.

IC Rules

1) Treat other members of the Banner with respect.
2) The hierarchy is not there to lord over you, nor are you to use your own position to lord over others. Ranks exist for guidance and giving direction.
3) All internal disputes that cannot be settled with words or a friendly competition, failing that they are to be settled with Mak’rogahn*, which requires the approval of the Speakers. Only in extreme cases will Mak’gora* be permitted, and even then only with the agreement of both parties.
4) The position of “Speaker” cannot be earned through challenges, unless the majority of Speakers approve it.
5) Members should strive to better the Horde and fellow Banner members.
6) Do not take up any kind of criminal actions against the Horde’s people
7) We do not permit Lightbound Orcs to join the Banner.

OOC Rules

1) All actions that result in disciplinary action will earn you a strike. Three strikes and removal from the guild will be considered, subject to discussion.
2) Verbally abusing other members will result in a strike.
3) OOC talk in the middle of active RP is not acceptable. Do it where you are sure there is no active RP, or better still, not at all.
4) No meta-gaming, power gaming or god emoting. If you’re new to RP, we can help you avoid these things. If you know what they are, do not do it!
5) Strive to take initiative to RP with others. Hosting events is very welcome and encouraged, but not mandatory, nor expected.

Busy busy!

Bit of combat training tonight in preparation for future efforts. Had plenty of fun bashing elves, mad Furbolg and Bandits the last week. The extra combat training won’t hurt

Tonight the banner took to Ashenvale to hunt down the dreaded bear Shasht’soh, Deaths own maw.

After a long hunt he was fought, cornered and cut down. Allowing travelers in eastern Ashenvale a reprieve from his vicious, man-eating attacks.

Had to settle with some deranged, grief stricken Night elves sworn to the Night warrior instead tonight.

But bish-bash-bosh, they’re dead and Ashenvale is safer. Even met some semi-nice elves that healed one of our warriors. Much obliged!

Surely there will be more wrestling and such incoming, as we’ve got more in the pipeline, helping allies and a venture to the Broken Isles! Also, we’re glad to have you, welcome aboard, Kazjul!

And for the main event of BBWF (Bloodied Banner Wrestling Federation) we had Wornag face off against the more experienced Okiba.

The match ended with Wornag using e devastating German Suplex to take the wind out of Okiba.

Stay tuned for any future matches.

There will soon be brief boating, followed by wandering, followed by brief boating. I’m excited. I’m a fan of boat.

Boat is just a reverse bathtub. Just think about that.

Also, tonight Wornag got hurt while wrestling a talbuk. Do not worry fans of the Bear, it was nothing too serious apart from a couple broken ribs. He’ll be back in action soon enough.
