Synonym is a raiding guild returning to the shadowlands expansion. We are comprised of old raiders dating back as far as vanilla. We are looking for new members to join our ranks for shadowlands.

What kind of guild Synonym?
Synonym is a new guild looking to create a new community and pushing high end content in the shadowlands.
What is the Raid schedule going to be in shadowlands?
Our current plan is to raid on:
Wednesday 19:30 - 23:30
Sunday 19:30 - 23:30
Thursday 19:30 - 23:30 ( During first two or three weeks of a new raid )
This means that when a raid tier start we will raid on a 3 day a week schedule for 2/3 weeks. After that we will stick to a 2 day a week basis.
What are the requirements to join Synonym?
We do not ask for high past performance logs (Would help your application phase). We have no problem to help you with improvement and getting better at raids. As we have helped other players improve and go on to perform well in other guilds.
However, some form of prior experience if preferable. But to not be deterred from asking and/or applying. We consider every person that applies to Synonym.
Is there anything specific i need to do for the guild?
While we do not currently have requirements for donating mats. We do highly encourage donating as we want to build the guild up to provide consumables for the raid.
This does suggest that when shadowlands is arriving we might change this that raiders are either required to bring their own consumables or collectively provide the guild back so that we can provide you with consumables in the raid.
What are the loot rules going to be like?
Since Personal loot has invaded the raiding scene we have decided that if an item drops for your Main spec you get to keep it. This does mean that if that stats on the item does not match your Best in slot stat priority you are to redistribute it to the raid group.
If Master loot somehow manages to return we will use Loot council.

Do note that we are not raiding in BFA. But warmup raids in the prepatch is a possibility.
