So apparently the guild message when someone earns an achievement is back, it’s truly been a blizz not knowing when your guildies 12315 alt got a new haircut. Can we go back to that time please?
…that’s an addon and not part of Blizzard UI or anything.
It’s not just addon, Blizzard did indeed fix the achievement announcements in guild chat just today. It was part of the game back then and I am glad it’s back.
People can uninstall attune addon now lol

I’m fine with it being in the game, most of our guild doesn’t like attune and don’t like this either, but WHY can’t you turn them off? You shouldn’t have to get an addon to specifically remove someone’s messages.
I assume it goes under “System Messages” in the chat options, what else would I lose if I disabled that? Stuff like /played and who won a duel etc?
Oooh, nice. So, do addons now cause these messages to be doubled?
Likely yes but not sure I haven’t seen that yet, I’d hope attune updates their addon anyway to prevent double messages.
