why does heroic strike miss so much?

Have you got hit cap?
im only 16 its missing 25% easy( even on enemies my own lev)
at the same level you should not miss that much, do you have your wepon skill maxed out? If not that is the explanation

yeah m8 wearriors miss like hell
you’ll miss alot more if you dual-wield, compared to 2h
lvl 16 is 4 levels before DW so it cant be that though

im still only 1handed,maybe my weaponwas wasnt fully trained or something

If you are hit capped and your weapon skill is maxed, you shouldn’t be missing on HS even if dualwielding. White swing misses are common however, as their hitcap is 28ish %. Oh, and also expertise. Hmm, do you see misses or dodge/parries?
Not with HS you won’t. Yellow (abilities) hit cap is the same for both 2h/dw.
