Like honestly this is the 2nd time today i have been kicked off the server because of my layer got kicked and its damn annoying i sit in que for 4hrs and get to play for 3hrs before i have to sit in que again for 4hrs.
I cant understand how you think its a good idea to make it so that if the server is full and a layer goes down the ppl in that layer gets kicked instead of making a new one for them and forcing them to RE QUE to play a game they have payed and qued for to play. surely you are not so incompetent as a multimillionaire company that you cant understand how unhappy your player base is because of this. Your forums are blowing up, general chat is mad. This can only affect the game in a negative way.
Why cant you change the way layering works? so far you have ruined World first race to 60. Several players experience in the game. You have ruined players plans in game. For example you WANT to lvl with your firend but before you group up hes layer goes down and now is 4hrs behind waiting in que.
Its gotten to the point where the players in que dont wait for players to log offline rather then waiting for layers to kick ppl out.

Any progress below 20lvl is negligible, and if you claim otherwise then you’re just being unreasonable. What people care the most right now is the long-term health of the realms, the guilds, and the names of their characters. The characters themselves and the progress they’ve made are irrelevant at this early stage.
Now reread my message and tell me: how it is different opinion from what you just wrote here, lol

yea we are below lvl 20 …the servers are 17 hours up …and i can play like 3-4 hours …thats the problem for me
I have waited 5 hours and 6minutes at the moment to get into Firemaw. And i think im gonna have to wait another 2-3 hours before im getting below 1k in queue, im currently 5.5k in queue. WHAT THE F BLIZZARD… This is so bad! My entire guild is on firemaw, so i cant just move. And they wont budge. I managed to play at 01.15 AM because you messed up and made thousands DC, my mates in the guild dced only to come back to a 17k queue, and me and some others moved ahead ALOT. Then i log in at 12 AM today, 17k queue still… And yea been doing alot of stuff in my house and taking care of my kid, but honestly i was expecting maybe a few hours queue, NOT 8-10 HOURS of queue!
Please! Do something!

I would rather have queues and have less layers than have loads of layers and not be able to remove layering before phase 2 though.
First - Yes lvl 30 is unreasonable high.
Second - How can the progress mage be negligible if you are going for Realm first Rag kill? or if you are aiming for WF 60? Are part of a Hardcore guild?. You cant say progress is negligible when the whole game is based on making progress!
Third - Long-term health of the realms is important but it should not have to affect the players playing the games experience. We should not be FORCED out in the name of Realm health or otherwise. Unless its for a server restart for something like maintenance or fixing a game breaking bug.

I waited 3 hours to log last night. Played for 2 hours, during which I grinded scorpids to level 4 (because questing was not an option). I then went to bed because I work 9-5. I logged on the 17k queue at noon today. I still have 8k more to go.
So yeah, it’s more or less unplayable, unless you’re jobless, single and have no other hobbies.

Trust me the jobless people like myself has been sitting here in queue since noon, and still have 3-4hours to go.
I followed the advice and created a char on Flamelash.
Queue is 7000 in the afternoon.
Now I understand what they meant with “…but you don’t”.

I know. I work from home so I’ve been watching the queues all day. When I woke up at 8 AM, Firemaw still had a 7k queue, down from the 18k last night. That realm has never been without a queue since the launch.
I see nothing from Blizzard assuring us that we will be able to get out of the low pop servers when they become EXTREMELY low pop and unplayable in 2 weeks time. For now I’ll take my chances in the 24k queue than waste time on a doomed server.

Wowhead estimated that there is 138.000 people in queue, i would NOT worry at all about servers being abonded. As some people have calculater. Even with a drop of 75% on the servers we will still have 2000k queues in average on each server. Which is atleast bareble at this point.

Well obviously what they said in the past blue post regarding servers of today and load and stuff was all fairy tails. To me it seems that they do not want to make this happen right now.
What they expect is for half or more to give up in a month or so since they were not used to classic and then everything will be settled in terms of population.
Why spend resources now for something that will settle at 50% or even less in 1 month or 2?
