Holy Pala and M+ 11 and up

wiped the dust from my old main and doing m+ as healer now. Had a blast and never got under 80% mana till i hit the 11 range.

Mana is not really a problem, but i am not able to heal the group proper sometimes.

Last was prior 11, first pull with mini boss, some player drop dead instant, or the tank pulls 3 groups and the little ones in the middle in the room before the 2 boss. Im not able to heal sometimes cause ppl get 1 shotted or i die instant, same in the room before the last boss, group takes heavy aoe dmg, even with AW active they drop from 100 to 10 in 1 global + aoe and dead;-(

Without Cds i have no chance to heal the group sometimes.

Is this a holy pala problem from the lack of group heal? Or a me issue;-p or is + 11 for a casual heal pala the end ;()

By the sounds of it, it’s most likely due to a lack of CC and interupts that is causing the issues.

As a paladin you can assist with some blinding light casts and interupting specific casters such as the mages in prior (if the dps is focusing on the priests).
But if nothing is getting CCed at all, then yeah, it’s not much you can do if you’re also topping people off.

it’s mostly a DPS / Tank issue.

It’s not a holy pala problem at all.

It’s a group problem in general. Kicking even one spell from being spammed opens a window for any healer to capitalize on. Even resetting an enemy cast bar via disruptions that are not kicks is crucial in a huge pull like those of Priory.

Those ‘1 shots’ are actually two-three unkicked abilities that targets the same player, resulting in a insta death.

If you’re healing 11’s and higher you need to understand why people died and if its your “fault”.

In the first pull in priory people die to the commander shout / knight aoe. If they do thats a healing issue. If they die to caltrops thats a them issue (though you can freedom off the bleed).

If they doe “100 to 0” check the death recap on details quickly, if they got hit by 2 casts in 0.1sec that took them from full health to dead thats not your problem unless you had an interrupt up and didn’t use it.

Theres a lot of damage here but this isn’t true. You need CD’s for the mini boss before the final boss.

Addons can help you see what people died from. (ie. Details)
As a healer you are there for the UNAVOIDABLE damage and to keep the tank alive.
If folks die to avoidable damage that’s their fault. That’s why they have interrupts, CC and defensives.
