Shield of Rightious is a bit of a joke for AOE dmg while hammer of wrath is also a big of a joke in terms of dmg output for the paladin healer.
Now is a healer supposed to be able to do dmg? ABSOLUTELY! not only is it nicer for those who are to lazy to spec for dps in open world content cause they have plans of playing healer, but it also changes the way you heal in dungeons leaving you to prio dmg over heals when the intire party if healthy.
I always think that a good healer is a healer who knows when squeeze in some dmg over healing the party. And there is pleanty of dungeons where that is the case.

Literally all abilities tbh, do not contribute to anything in terms of dmg, most of the time the holy paladin will sit on 200k at best… whilst a monk can sit on 500k?? what are we doing? Paladins talent for example to increase hammer of wrath’s dps by 50% (which takes 2 talent points) Is close to useless and if it’s useless why does it exist?. There needs to be a reason a talent is worth looking at and maybe the only reason is “Pvp” in this case but not to be off-topic Paladins aint doing enough dps on abilities that replace the healing output. (Shield of rightious being my biggest complaint)
