I’m running out of decor to get unless I buy 450k+ worth from the AH (and I already spent 350k on it). Then there’s people who are moving neighborhoods to get the 250XP reward multiple times.
I still need like 800XP to level 8 and I’m unable to continue building my house, and even L8 won’t give me enough to finish the parts I’m working on. Maybe around L9 or 10 I’ll manage, but despite spending huge amounts of time (sometimes 30~60 minutes for 10XP), I’m stuck…
Please just let me farm it… I want my house upgraded, I’m eager to spend time for it, but I’m just running out of XP sources.

I’m down to basically just PvP items now and I have zero intention of taking up PvP even for housing.
I’m at level 8 and I see no way to move forward until either the new expansion or a new endeavour.

Same stuck at 9k and see no way to move forward to 12k until Midnight release.
Don’t think that is how it works. You get it once even if you move neighbourhoods.
I can’t even get my other neighbourhood to give me the bonus. Can’t loot the chest 
Same thing happened to me on Horde. I move there I got coupons but not XP. Think you need to clock a certain amount of participation. Not sure or maybe its bugged. I just given up on Horde one though as I can’t do two houses its too much effort.
I did my 2000 housing XP in activities but just can’t get in the chest by the notice board so I gave up. My Horde house is behind my Alliance one.

It also appears that housing XP from learning new items stopped applying to both houses once Endeavours came in.

I don’t get it though. My horde house only lvl 7 even though I played on both characters. The Alliance house moved super fast to lvl 8 and Horde one just stagnated. Then I got a message on my Horde character that rewards were waiting and when I went to the chest was just coupons. Yet on Alliance one I got coupons and 250xp.
So not sure how it works.

Seems very hit and miss.
At this point I need a new endeavour to start earning again, unless I develop an interest in PvP which is highly unlikely xD
There is an easy one and you can semi afk it. Just join 50 bg or so and it will unlock some items. I think the first one is 10 bg and second 25 and 3rd one is 50. Goes up to 300 but if you hate it well I guess you won’t go that far.

Clound Nine and Fire Walk with Me - got this on my monk in MoP but for some reason they reset it and AI ticket reponses wont help. So I won’t get those again unless I play on DH or Druid as they have the speed.

Pvp is just an area that really doesn’t interest me and I don’t find fun.
I’ve done a few PvP ones (compstomp was a blessing). I’m mostly missing some harder achievements/vendor requirements, but we’re talking maybe 15~20 items max, and I still need 700+ XP. Yes I can still buy a bunch of stuff from the AH, but everything is 5k+, and going into the 10~15k really fast.
This system being gated like this is frustrating because I literally just can’t continue without sinking unreasonable amounts of time, get L8, and then be stuck again because there’s no way I can get that much XP within 2 months anyway…
I feel your pain. I love some of the PvP items but I don’t like PvP. Maybe when I will be very very VERY bored and Comp Stomp will be up, I’ll do some of them.

Update; A guildy helped me get the remaining XP through the AH. Use your warbank to transfer money, go to undermine dot exchange, search for an item, scroll all the way down, and see which realm has the decor for the lowest prices. Then make a vulpera on that realm, grab your gold, buy it.
It’s really annoying that it has to go like this, but this can easily reduce prices by 10~300%. Sometimes it’s 5.5k vs 5k, sometimes it’s 4k vs 12k.
I just want to remind everyone that this is a subscription-based game which requires you to be hooked to keep giving them money.
It also makes perfect sense why they’re not immediately dumping 20 new house levels with the decorto reach those levels right off the bat. Not everything is ready and they want you to keep playing.
If you lack crafted decor items, the work orders should make it possible to get those items at a reasonable price. But you will have to farm your own lumber.

Yes, whatever you’re missing of the crafted items, you can put in a public work order to have them crafted for you. But this means you will have to farm the lumber yourself. The lumber is one of the reasons why some of this stuff is so expensive. It’s a minor drag to farm.
Alternatively, if you’ve got eager crafters in your guild you can also put in a guild work order.
If you try the public work order, I recommend you also put out a comment in trade chat so crafters know to look for it.
