If you are a Sylvanas loyalist, the things she said to you at Windrunner Spire were meant to wrap up that specific storyline. She’s basically saying “You were with me, you made these choices, you were on the right side of it. Those choices can’t save you from what’s to come.” So it was meant to wrap up that arc because it was not something we wanted to carry forward.

How does that foreshadow her downfall? I thought bringing doom was part of her objective.
Yeah not only that, but Eitrigg officially “forgives” Sylvanas’ loyalists players when they return to Orgrimmar by saying that the loyalists only fought him and sided with Sylvanas because they did what they believed was right, following the Warchief to the end like a true Horde player is supposed to, so he understands their motivations and accepts them back into the folds of the Horde, there’s no bad blood anymore between them.
So yeah, being a loyalist was only going to be just a BFA-experience. After all loyalist players have worked for the Horde and did the good of the Horde for a very long time, it’s silly they wouldn’t be forgiven for just a single mistake about loyalty to a Warchief like Sylvanas who tricked and used them all the time while they didn’t even know about it
Especially considering how easy it is for the Warcraft big boys (main characters) to blame one person for everything someone else does. Kind of like blaming Garrosh for what the original Horde did, namely the Dragonmaw.
