Also it does absolutely not matter at what point in the season you got it. We’re not in 2010 anymore when people cared about amount of games played for some reason.

You barely break challenger any season since you have started playing this for years now and you do maybe 250 games per season, Im sure everyone cares of your assessment of anyones “input” Nancy. You dont even play the game.

You barely got rival on surv/bm hunter (on a negative winrate, anoraaz style while also complaining with 1 billion threads about le evil gatekeepers of 1.8), in fact the only character you got 2.1 with is holy priest (most broken spec in the game right now) playing with demo lock at season end keksimus maximus

its insane how many ppl care about rating or thinking it has any meaning left, you can be 1.8k or 3k theres no prestige in it bcz every 2nd person bought a boost or had a lucky season with a meta comp, how you know who is boosted or not? exactly you dont, and then i didnt even talk about the fact that the game is so dead pvp wise that if you dont have m8s already from back then, then you will need to sit lfg for 5 hours.

Really tho? Did/do you play LFG? No way anyone can say with a straight face that S2 2,4k+ are same XP as 2,4k+ people from S1 or S3. They are not even 2,1k XP S1/S3 
You boasting now? You were ~1,8k hardstuck on every class you play, especially on your hunter. Now you got boosted on hpriest (with res lengedary btw lmao) and act like you know something? Chill out.

I get your point but your whole arguments are wrong.
- PvP is not dead, the queue pops instantly for the majority.
- Sitting in LFG is not the fault of the game, it’s the sweaty tryhards who can’t carry their own weight and want free wins
- There is obviously a difference between 1,8k and 3k and even if someone was able to boost someone to 3k (without win trading) the 3k boosted guy would have more knowledge than a 1,8k selfplay by default. (you can’t boost someone to high rating without coaching)
As I said, I understand what you are trying to say but don’t exaggerate for no reason. It make it looks like you are not able to find valid arguments.

i talked about prestige, a.k.a “bragging rights” like in the old times, bcz we can say anything, thats the main reason any1 push/pushed rating, and between 1.8 and 3k theres no difference in this (i didnt talk about skill) bcz for example, i did play with 2.9k exp warr last season who played like a 2k one, then checked him and he was clearly boosted, and this happened so many times, so right now exp and rating lost the meaning bcz what do you do with it? some1 link it to me theres a high chance that this guy is not at his exp in terms of skill level, bcz either he got boosted, or got a lucky season with a meta comp… for example you can invite a 2.8k exp bfa s4 destro lock right now and he will feed the game easily
back then when i was playing wotlk and mop, and i went to durotar and inspected a guy with high rating i was pretty sure he is good, even tho there was boosting too in these but not even comperable to what happens nowadays, back then it made sense to talk like those guys in this thread and i actually enjoyed these toxic arguments based on rating etc, but now? its just cringe

stuff like boosting or people playing meta combs and get “free” rating exists since forever. Its nothing new.
I dont think its more impressive to get glad in Wotlk where people were clicking and backpaddling at high rating.
there was so much wintrading and boosting at the end of every season. Pure drama every season.
You cant like most people buy boosts nowdays while in reality its a very tiny % of playerbase who do that. Its more frequent at the end of the season. A few weeks ago i almost faced no boosters at all at 2400 mmr.

As someone with Glad in both S2 and S3 who no voice LFG’d ALL of my games, I can say with absolute confidence that getting 2.4+ this season was just as easy as it was last season.
By the way, Season 1 is a joke of a comparison to make. Have you seen the amount of 1x R1’s from Sinful where people got to 2.9+ in a few weeks and then sat their rating for 6+ months?
There are multiple factors which you’re either choosing to ignore or are unaware that exist that contribute to less people having it this season.

there was as many boosted clowns back in the days than there are right now, at least half of my realm in cata/mop was 2.2 boosted for the tier2 weapons when it wasn’t free from rbgs like in s11, same goes for the mop challenge mode, 1 out of 10 players got it legitimately. being on a RP server, a lot of players were boosted not to brag, but to get the skins/achievs cause they were absolute collectors. source: i used to be in a small guild offering such services 
Even tho many seem boosted, we also have a lot of situations where players only know how to play 1 comp and have 0 clue when they try to play other. I have messed around with a lot of different comps this season and tried ret rogue with 2.2 exp players and had a great session and played the next day with higher exped players but did way worse. Some players think different comps have same strats. Playing ret rogue holy priest like rmp isn’t working.

A lot of people are boosted of course but I feel like the term is thrown around too loosely. It seems like people call others boosted because they had 2 or 3 bad games or something. People forget that not everyone plays for rating so errors are more common.

It dont matter to me tho, as soon as I see something obnoxious and delusional or juvenile and toxic the type of stuff you see from kids or adults missing half of a working brain usually from kazzak at durotar spamming something stupid on who ever.

Now picture brachet based rated gearing system where you have to deal with these simian with lfg and try to progress in the said system so you are not just wasting your time, now that would be pretty toxic game right?
Any gear and any exp can play on what ever rating and then there is the boostings there is no matchmaking per se on the sense as in any other competitive game, its just one toxic joke of gamemode
Best one can do is meta the season. Last season it were rsham and hunter for me, this season it was hpriest, next season propably hpriest too as I see no changes on anything and next expansion who knows yet but something that is good, this is the way till there is soloq or better matchmaking and gearing systems on this game
I will reach my seasonal goals nevertheless and Ive only began playing this
