Coming from Hpriest and somewhat discpriest at 1600 rating ish. But my friend urge me to play Hpala cause according to skill capped and rest of the internet they are easiest and best healer to play. So i geared up my Pala and started to play… And well… How do you heal? My heals barley move my friends HP bar. Nothing is happening. Sure i got Utilities and what not while i can press 1 button on my priest and i can control the battlefield or atleast the incomming dmg.
Im obviously doing something wrong. But during stressful situations my friend will die, 100%
I dont know where the godmode from Hpala comes from but i cant find it atm.
whats the niche on Hpala that makes them so good that i have to switch from priest?
First of all he best healer in arena is resto druid and second is priest.
You heal by doing alot of word of glory/eternal flame
And by rotate wings and divine toll.
Never use them at the same time because they give triple holy shock buff and you don’t wanna overlap those.
Because triple holy shock into word of glory will almost heal someone from 10% HP to 100%HP.
Use freedom often and sac/bop when needed.
Get gear (full vers/mastery) some Paladins use some crit but lately I’ve seen them go full vers/mastery. With that you should be able to top someones health bar alot easier.
And If you’re already doing all this.
You can search on youtube for a hpala rotation pvp guide and you will find one, you can learn alot from those.
At the end. Play the healer you enjoy the most and learn that healer first. Don’t jump around to every healer without learning one.
I would rank healers this way if you’re curious.
1: Resto druid
2: holy priest
3: holy paladin/disc priest
4: pres evoker/mistweaver monk
5: resto shaman
Every healer can reach really high rating if you learn to play them well.
For example, I’ve seen Resto shamans beat Resto druids in arena.

You beat me atleast once, friend who have not played for the season yet asked me to come play with him today, I figured I go play my druid that I have not played in this season either or have any clue of rdruid now after its changes. So we start gearing in 2s. It went kinda like I suspected and we are 40 ilvl lower than everyone else from first game onwards, and we faced a lot of max geared people who have played a lot in this season from 1.6mmr onwards which is funny but that is the state of arena now
Its whatever in any case, theres nothing to gain other than the conq/honor cause we are 40 ilvl lower than everyone else. Hanging out with friend who is figuring to return or start playing the season or who knows. Nobody play arena anymore. The game is done, I wont likely bother play arena too much either, theres no bonus rewards for facing same 6 ppl on the most trivial mmr, just no point
So mastery holy pala better than crit? In pvp.
I think for beginner Soloq you can argue that following T list seems accurate for just stay in the back max range and heal
STier: Restro druid
A Tier: Disc| MW
(Why not holy priest holy priest OP, yea but you got too many cd’s you need too handle in the right order and situation, damage seems more spiky too heal from holy point of view and you can panic)
I’ve seen more Hpaladins go for full mastery and that puts your crit chance at around 10%, because you are forced into some crit from set pieces.
but a few Hpaladins go for around 15% crit chance.
That is one crafted ring or neck with vers/crit
A cloak and a pair of boots I think.
You can’t go wrong with any of them tbh
On the other hand just putting your bouncy heal buff on people is 70% of your healing with your mastery and you have a glowing button to press whenever someone drops to a specific % of hp
From all healer I played , holy feels the most forgiving
