Just as the title says I want to know how long will the increased drop rate last for because honestly I’m enjoying the hell out of it and don’t want it to end.
Also interested to know if people got lucky? 
According to the calendar July 30th or something like that.

8 leather toons, every week, since Emerald Dream mythic was solo farmable (and in guilds doin heroic version before then), + this event AND STILL NO EDGY RED SHOULDERS!! 
My sanity is long gone.

Don’t despair mate drop comes when you least expect it and when you don’t care about it then it suddenly drops.
Like me 1 week ago I was doing ulduar just to get it over with didn’t care about if anything drops or not and whoala the head mount drops xD.
Because with me when I want something it doesn’t happen when I don’t want it or don’t care about it then it drops.

Emerald Dream? I sincerely hope you meant Emerald Nightmare, completely different raid… 
And it’s not recommended to farm legion content AT ALL when Legion Remix is coming. And it will most certainly add those to a vendor, just like MoP’s Garrosh’s shoulders.

Small misunderstanding I was sharing different raid drop with him as an example not to give up.

No. The red shoulder’s drop rate was not increased. Blizz posted out the items where the drop rate was increased by 5%. And the shoulder is not among them. Sure the number of item drops doubled but that means you get more useless trinkets and rings in reality.

If every item could be the shoulders then indrectly the drop of the shoulders have been “doubled” because there are more items available with individual chance to be the shoulders.

Yea, there is no information about The First Satyr’s Spaulders dropchance increase, same goes for other shoulders like Pauldrons of Za’qul and i think same for Legion Rare Epic Mog Drops.
Several YouTube channels are praising the fact that these items will have better dropchances, but in reality there is no actual prove or infromation about increased dropchances for this items.

Oh, I just assumed the droprate for legacy loot was increased as a whole.

Amount of drop is increased, but im not sure if its even doing anything for these shoulders.
Just as with every loot speculations, there is no clear information about which item is falls under any drop mechanics.
Other Legion Rares is personal loot and given to you directly in your inventory, but shoulders is a boss loot.
I’ve seen talks about The First Satyr’s Spaulders is leather only drop and you need to have leather class in the raid in order to them drop. I don’t know if its true, but from my own experience i got Pauldrons of Za’qul as a warrior, which means a plate shoulders for a plate class.
So far, i did 44 Xavius runs in two weeks during Collector’s Bounty all leather classes (3 rogue, 1 druid, 7 monks) HC and Mythic modes, but no luck.
Did two extra as paladin, no surprises here, no shoulders.
