How much gold do you make a week

Not enough … T-T

I have absolutely no idea, I shuffle so much between my chars in all lvls that I don’t know what they make as an average.

But I think if I make a little effort I might make around 500 gold with questing in BFA content

If I sold everything I farmed, then I’d be making 300k+ a week (more or less). But, nearly all of my farming materials goes to my guild for raids, so that saves gold for us instead. I don’t care much for gold, though I’ve just started selling things on the AH again to start stocking the guild up with gold instead xD

I have the Yak and mammoth also have the alliance bike i have no problem getting gold but i just don’t see the point of hoarding millions of gold which eventually leads to stupidly expensive mounts being added to the game.

Yak is the most expensive thing i will ever spend its nice because of vendor and transmog don’t really need anything else because i got engineering so with that i have AH in every town and i don’t need to collect gold for oversized AH mount.

This expansion seems really bad for earning gold from basic gameplay though. It seems like unless you using the game like a second job (charging for boosts or playing the AH like a pro) you cant even afford some of the regular mounts…and it sounds like its going to get worse in BFA with new faction mounts added which cost a small fortune.
I dont want to spend all my time in game standing around the AH and on AD the realm pop is high enough that the market is already saturated with most things so you either end up playing a completely different game or not earning much at all. I mean I like Sim type games but not in my WoW!

I truly dont mind goldsinks like the spider or longboi but they need to chill out on the prices of the more everyday stuff.

Honestly, how do people make money? Every M+ run is a flask, a scroll, repairs, food, drums, mana potions, invis potions, and whatever I am forgetting. I am not exaggerating when I say a run is at least 1000 gold. Gold is just running away

About as much as I spend, tho my gold count is still dropping, even tho it is dropping slower than at the start of BFA.

I thought the 20k(iirc) was thr most I would ever spend. Then I bought the Yak, 7-9 years later…

That said, at this rate, the Dinosaur will never happen. I started BFA with right under 500k gold. Yesterday I saw I’ve gone down to 183k. The most of that went at the start of BFA.

I don’t make a lot of gold, i used to have around 350k gold when the expansion started I think, now I have around 270k I think… bought some expensive transmogs, mounts, and pets + consumables when I was raiding so I have probably spent more than 100k so far. My only income is from running old raids, world quests etc.

Most of my gold I have gotten from when I got 2 lucky BoE drops in heroic ToS back in Legion. Sold each for about 100-150k. Havent gotten any lucky drops in BFA so far though!

I’m at the point now where I’ve broken even with BfA (1.7 Million after dropping below 1.2M during Uldir) and am slowing starting to make money - selling the odd island BoE on the AH, got enough herbs for myself so selling a few. Currently passively making about 50K a week. I don’t do anything to try and make gold though.

Not much tbh.
I only do casual content and I do try to maximize WQs so that I get to paragon chests quicker (for extra gold). But compared to Legion, BfA is HORRIBLE for me for making gold.

Varies greatly.
Some weeks I sell alot of stuff and make a lot of profit, other weeks I make barely enough to cover my costs.

That said I am lazy because the game is not super engageing outside raids with guildies or M+ with friends and even then.

With effort thats extremely little, for max level thats like 3 world quests and while leveling 500 g is like one area of a questline in a zone. and its even easier to reach that if you quest while having herbing/mining or disenchanting while questing

Think of what you can do with the AH dino mount and gamons braids+ worldshrinker

I have never given any indication of being extreme in any way when I play, I fool around a lot

Same here, but 500 g, i earn that just doing mission table missions on 4 character each day

I haven’t started up on the mission table yet, so I can’t say I have earned that much that way

I think they only thing you missed was a rune ? but yes going by todays prices its atleast 1000-1500g per dungeon .

Between 5 and 10k, sure ain’t what it used to be.

Yesterday was a great example: do WQ’s for an hour in Nazmir sell grey items for 50g and repair for 250g. (I know, I died like a knobhead…I was still getting to grips with my Nzoth trinket that kills me while AE’ing a bunch of baddies :>)
