How to fix the gearing problem (NOT AZERITE)

06/11/2018 21:31Posted by Gannet
This problem is greatly exaggerated and it's a hot issue on the forums only after some streamer makes a video about it, and just like you, most are just parroting whatever they heard in that video without thinking too much about it.

How decent of you to accuse me parroting something, if everything those "streamers" did is summerize all the issues and complain about it, while i try to come up with something how it could be tackled.. very sensible.
Absolutely disagree, azerite is a big problem in itself, but my issue is subtle destroying the gearing expirience from behind the scenes, it is hard to see unless you get to a high ilvl or you do alot of 3-7 keys, then it gets blatently obvious.

Yes because I am losing faith in Blizzard because I can't think for myself. Kappa. I didn't even do a +10 last week because I am so heavily unmotivated to play while during legion I was WILLING to play and gear multiple characters on mythic raid level in Antorus. How the duck does this have anything to do with whatever some streamer or youtuber says? I listen to them, I agree but also disagree with a lot of what they say. Furthermore, just because it's a hot topic, it doesn't mean it's not a valid issue.

Some people might but when you are giving examples, feedback and what not and it's not even cared for, it's when I start losing faith. The feedback sections on these forums are a joke for instance, not talking about General section.

If they don't raid or do M+ why do they need better (340+) gear?

Good point, although his point is correct aswell, i havent thought about that at all.

As you see, my current character is ilvl 352. ilvl strictly farmed from warfront, arathi rares and once in a while (long while) mythic runs. As of right now, I am not forced to do anything I do not want to to get better gear. Yes, I do read or watch youtube to learn how to do mythics but the overall issue is people that are refusing to learn and as a result folks like me get punished due to changes you are talking about.

So if you take away the ability to get gear from warfronts, rares and so on most will just run around with their heads cut off like chickens. If you wish for challenge then do mythic + (your choice) or continue to farm warfronts/rares with us :)

This would not take your ability to gear up away at all... gear would still drop and you would still do 2 weeks of farming, but instead of getting a lucky titanfoged drop on a piece that just has high ilvl you would actually be able to upgrade a low ilvl piece with the right stats to an ilvl that is progressing your character in a meaningfull way, i dont want to take away anything from anyone how is this not clear, you seem to be a rational person, whom can be talked with, please help me to improove to state my case better so this missunderstanding would not happen again!

Tank you for your contribution!

Do you remember days where raiding was the only way to gear up? Do you remember folks that were never given a chance to raid because they would have poor dps or not know the fight? Remember all this is before we even had LFR...

So now they get the chance, and in my opinion lfr is a horrifying expirience, I could not complete it on a 383 character for over 10 trys on ghun.... How meaningful is it to participate in something, if you know you are not getting the full package? Lfr is rendered obsolete in terms of learining and skill development, because nobody even cares about the mechanics.... I asked people to do tactics multiple times and got only: what for its lfr lol as an asnwer even after multiple trys...

No wonder you did not get much support from the US players using a name like that they must think EU players are silly .

Tip for you want to be taken serious get a decent forum name and not a name used by a guy who is vile and armoury shames to get points across.
Having gear drop based on hardest content you have done will just encourage more pay to boost services, groups will be formed to run a player through some higher level content so they then get higher level gear drop from other content, if anything your system would make it 10 times worse and make the game more pay to win.

Player A levels to 120, pays a group to get run through a mythic raid, then instantly after gets awarded high end gear from all content.

The current system works fine

Good point, I thought about this while writing this post ... It would not change a thing..People pay for boosts right now and worlquests would still reward capped gear at some reasonable point... The only difference it wold make is, even if he got some good drops, he wouldnt actually have the chance on titatnforging them any further but had to pay for alot of boosts to upgrade them and be reasonable please, how many people can/want to afford that for gear , that will be obsolete as soon as the next patch hits....

I dont know where you got this from, but being "vile" does not mean you are inept of actually understanding how the game is not reaching its potential.
The prejudice is real, I get that, yet still I belive he has made strong points and in my post i didnt only mention him....

armoury shames

I look at peoples armory who comment on my posts aswell, it tells alot about the level of resolution this person has viewing the game... Ofc I undestand that people do not necessarily post on their main, but what can i do...

For example looking at your armory I would guess you log on and have alot to do, yet you farm your gear in warfronts and wq´s instead of actually challenging content. You see i am not judging you and i dont need you, but I can see where you are coming from and when you comment my post, not be angered or prejudiced, but empathetic and see why you think that way....
